Antes de ir para o alojamento , perguntei se tinham os utensílios de cozinha essenciais, visto que a minha esposa está grávida. Disseram que sim , mas na realidade não havia nem uma frigideira para fazer ovos e pratos pequenos só existia para uma pessoa . A coberta que foi deixada na cama estava com manchas. O colchão nao era confortável.

An original fisherman's boathouse, an amazing location for anyone who wants to live almost directly in the ocean or rather, next to a lagoon. Early mornings and evenings are perfectly quiet. Very comfortable king-size bed, wifi was working very well, the shower was fine for someone not tall (5.5''). A nice little faucet + mirror not too far from the bed was very helpful, plus another corner with a mirror was useful. The windows have screens that block the view from outside but not from inside, thus one can enjoy the view but have privacy.

One should know that there is NO infastructure on the beach, a beach bar is open in July-August. There are no taverns or a supermarket close by, one should come prepared with their own food. (None of this was a problem for me as I knew about this before arrival + brought along takeout, canned food, fruit, coffee/tea, wine & beer.) There's no kitchen for cooking: A fridge, a sink, plates/bowls to serve food/wine glasses/cups/cutlery (they look very nice/stylish), an electric kettle + coffeemaker, plus there's a bar surface with bar chairs if one wants to eat inside plus the sofa by the window has a view of the ocean. With an off-shore northwest wind (which was not the case when I was there) little waves/water can enter the house, so it makes sense to check wind direction before booking. Phone reception doesn't really work inside (apparently it works on upper levels if one climbs up some stairs) but the wifi was working perfectly. The average man (5.8'' or taller) might not be able to stand straight inside the bathroom/shower or even in the kitchenette with "curvy" walls like a cave. Space is tight, one practically sleeps with the garbage can 3ft away behind the bed but there are trash containers up the stairs on the street. For the days I stayed there was no cleaning service but I'm sure it can be arranged. Again, this is a rental for someone who wants to be in the water all day and doesn't expect luxury. Last but not least: Since this is a historic fisherman's boathouse and the tiny beach next to it is well-protected from the wind there are a LOT of visitors who will be taking selfies and looking inside the boathouse. It comes with the territory.

Amazing location

For this premium price, you need to give more. Location cannot be the only factor. Everything is basic. To improve: put product against mosquito, coffe capsules, I mean come on… it’s not so hard to leave so fresh water and coffee when you charge over 200 euros the night. Also, mosquitoes is a nightmare there
