Plaka Philoxenia Apartments Milos

We had a wonderful stay at plaka philoxenia! We felt the owner’s hospitality the moment we walked through the door and our host talked us through a map of the island sharing all his favorite spots and offering advice for our trip. The apartment was clean with lots of natural light and comfortably fit our group of 3. The location was perfect—a 3 minute walk from the plaka center with lots of bars, restaurants, and sunset spots and about a 10 minute drive from the famous beaches we wanted to visit (Sarakiniko, Klima, Mandrakia, Phylopotamos) and the port. Bonus points: it had beach towels and a nespresso machine we could use!

De locatie was top. Zeer dicht bij het centrum, alles was op wandelafstand. Vlotte en aangename communicatie met de host. Ze hebben ons ook veel tips en aanbevelingen gegeven om het eiland te verkennen.

The apartment was excellent, beautiful design, impeccably clean and the check-in process was perfect, with lots of tips from the owner about places to visit and eat.

The only thing to note is there's no ventilation in the bathroom, but that wasn't a massive problem as we could keep the windows open and the apartment ventilated well.

La descrizione dell’appartamento era fuorviante. Eravamo nell’appartamento n.1, che è in un seminterrato privo di qualsiasi spazio esterno: questo non era in alcun modo chiarito al momento della prenotazione. La descrizione sul sito insiste sulle terrazze e gli ampi spazi esterni: se una delle case disponibili non ha queste caratteristiche, va detto chiaramente. Qui si è volutamente giocato sull’equivoco e questo rende l’intero soggiorno del tutto insoddisfacente. Aggiungo inoltre che era presente un rumoroso deumidificatore che andava svuotato 1-2 volte al giorno data la collocazione dell’appartamento: ciononostante restava odore di muffa.
