A really nice appartment right in the historical centre of Acireale so you are close to all the shops and cafés, but live in a quiet street where you rarely hear any city noise. Hosts are really helpful and accomodating. Public transport is as good as it gets in Sicily with the bus stop just 2 min walk, but it’s so unreliable I recommend just renting a car to get around (you can try a car rental called, I think, Domus just 3 min walk from the flat; had a very good experience). Nice that there is not only a small terrace but also a much larger rooftop one where you could relax.

There is no dishwasher in the flat, which is a bit of a nuisance on holidays, but livable. Also no microwave. The boiler is rather small so bear that in mind when you plan 2 consecutive showers. The floors could use a bit of mopping, not just a quick vacuuming, cause the tiles reveal some of the dirt when wet and then you get it all over your foot towel. The mattress was a bit too soft to my taste, but that is a question of preference.

Lovely house in the historic centre of acireale. Very close to the main square,  yet it was easy to find free park less than a 3-minute walk. The owners Davide and Lorena were lovely and very accommodating. I stayed there for three weeks,  working remotely and visiting around during the weekends. They acted swiftly on any need I had
