Do put a visit to the "Jardin des Cinq Sens" on the agenda! Residence right in the middle of the historic town center with a marvelous view on Lac Leman. Somewhat hidden away for the town visitors, and thanks to the limited car traffic allowed into the town, the quietness was amazing...
... if one doesn't mind the bell church telling time on the hour, (almost) every hour ;)

The accommodation was fabulous. It was perfectly located with a breathtaking view overlooking the lake and chateau. Yvoire is in the top 3 of the many villages we have visited in France and Europe. The hosts couldn't have been more helpful. Having breakfast on the balcony was a trip highlight..
