I went for the beautiful view and was very impressed. It was peaceful and right on the rocky shoreline.

Breakfast was typical Italian breakfast. Nothing to complain about.
Some of the windows need maintenance, not a big deal.

Charming swept away villa, a bit secluded but a brief drive into Porto Santo Stefano or a short walk if you’re adventurous. Parking at the villa is behind locked gates & very secure.
Jaw dropping views of the pretty port town from our private terrace and the sounds of the waves below to lull me to sleep pretty much sealed the deal.
Gianni (afternoons & early evenings) & Marco (overnights & mornings) are welcoming hosts. Gianni carried my bags up the several flights to our room….not necessary but soooo appreciated. And Marco hosted the generous & tasty breakfast buffet & made superb caffe!
Santo Stefano has some really good dining options & we managed to always find parking….blue lines so you pay at the kiosks. And has a shop with the best gelato I’ve ever encountered. Ever! Don’t miss the pistachio and the Peruvian dark chocolate at Pozioni di Neve. Right next door is Phermento for pizza. Not neopolitan style which I’m used to in NYC area but fluffy focaccia with fresh toppings catering to all dietary requests.
It’s worth noting that everyone who waited on us in every place we ate, every shop, every place were warm & welcoming.
PStoStef is the kind of place I could get very used to, very quickly.
