The town of Cabras is essentially a suburb of the second largest town in Sardinia, i.e. Oristano.
Location is on quiet residential street in a converted private home that has 4 guest rooms. In good weather there is a lovely balcony that was attached to our room. The location is best for exploring nearby west coast sights, in particular the archeologic site of the ancient city of Tharros, located ~ 15 km away on the peninsula.
There are some stairs that require navigation. The plugs are of the older type (Vertical with a safety component) that requires a special 3-prong adapter to connect your standard European 2-prong plug. North Americans, pay attention.
Breakfast is fairly basic, coffee to order, cooked eggs, cakes and breads, fresh squeezed orange juice and coffee and expresso. Street parking adjacent to the hotel is readily available. Our king bed was comfortable, there is excellent Wi-fi service, but be sure and get the WPA2 password which is very complicated. Carlos the innkeeper was extremely helpful and speaks English.
No significant negatives, excellent value for your money. Spoiler Alert: This area of Sardina is rife with mosquitoes, so be prepared. Our sliding door had a screen so all good.

Die Gastgeberfamilie ist unglaublich freundlich und hilfsbereit. Das Frühstück war vielseitig und abwechslungsreich. Der Aufenthalt auf der zum Zimmer gehörenden Terrasse ist traumhaft.
