Dining choices are varied from the chains of Red Lobster and Olive Garden to the local Applewood Farmhouse (featuring apple dishes and fritters) and the Old Mill which has delicious corn chowder with corn fritters. And the newest tourist destination is The Island, a walking plaza with amusements, great shopping and restaurants like Margaritaville and Paula Deens. Cabin was great for us. We traveled with teens and a toddler. The down stairs was a great hang out for the older kids. Cabin has everything you need with luxeries like pool access, hot tub etc that we appreciated but not overly fancy or expensive. Air conditioning worked GREAT for all three levels which we were so thankful for in the July heat and humidity. And we also took advantage of thr free attraction tickets.

We had a wonderful time at Sleepy Bears Den! The location was perfect and the team was so easy to work with. There was great communication before and throughout our stay. The hot tub was wonderful, really enjoyed it! The cabin was a little tired thoughâŚ.. it needs some attention. The ceiling fan was a little whompy in the LV and the bedroom fan did not work at all. We could not seem to keep the main fireplace running even after they came and got it working once. The pilot light keeping going out? The furniture was wobbly and the kitchen table top was not even bolted to the base. It almost flipped over as someone stood up and used the table for security. I think Sleepy Bears Den has just been so popular the owners havenât had the time to get these items corrected. We did have a wonderful time in Pigeon Forge and in no way did those things affect it. They just need to be fixed.
