We recently stayed at The Wave in Lefkada and absolutely loved our time there. The setting was incredibly tranquil — exactly what we needed for some much-deserved downtime. The scenery was truly breathtaking, making it easy to relax and just soak it all in.
Chris, our host, was wonderful. Nothing was too much trouble for him, and his local knowledge really elevated our stay. He recommended some fantastic local restaurants — one in particular that we initially dismissed based on its website (suggesting it was closed) turned out to be incredible. A perfect example of how valuable local insight can be.
The property itself is lovely. While the pool isn't heated, it honestly didn’t matter because the weather was so warm. Though a warm swim at night would’ve been a bonus, we barely noticed it. Chris was also kind enough to offer us a late checkout, which we really appreciated.
We’re already looking forward to coming back. Can’t recommend The Wave enough for anyone looking to unwind in a stunning setting with a truly hospitable host.

We thought that the villa was awesome, not far from the beach, almost every comfort imaginable, and a very nice pool. Changing sheets and getting fresh towels was never an issue, and there was an almost 24h service per cell by our very polite and kind co-hostess Dora.
And in 3 languages, should the need be present. Long story short, a really wholesome, fun and relaxing stay.
Pricing is a little steep, but in the long run worth it....
