Excellent for travelling around

We thought it had a dampness smell when we got there

The property was in a good location to where we wanted to be. It was clean and comfortable. The beds were comfortable. But a little too high for my height. But once on had a good night's sleep. Would stay again

Couldn't always connect to the Internet. And the tv was a work of art. But once sorted OK. Also there was no cooking pots only frying pans.

When we left and put in the postcode we were given it became clear that we’d been given the wrong address. We contacted the property managers to ask for the address again. They sent us another wrong postcode before we received the correct one. THIS COULD HAVE BEEN A DISASTER! When we arrived and stepped in we knew this property wasn’t for us. It is absolutely crammed with unnecessary items ie. Massive fruit bowl with plastic fruit, trinkets covering all surfaces. Huge plastic outdoor mats in living room, rugs, fake flowers, glass surface boards, no furniture matched and there is way way too much of it which makes for trip hazards and no space to move around the property. The bed linen is ancient and busy- this immediately put us off of sleeping in it. Most of the ‘artwork’ is based on London, which makes no sense. There are so many plates and just things in the kitchen cupboards that you’ve got no room to put food. Curtain rails slipped off when touched and had to be put back up. THERE IS NO WAY TO EXPLAIN HOW MUCH STUFF IS IN THIS PROPERTY! The whole property has a strange damp feeling about it. Also there were soooo many air fresheners- plug ins and others that it was overpowering! In order for us to decide to stay here I went around the property and moved most the clutter and put it away in cupboards. I tried to put it back out before we left. The feel of this property is that an elderly lady has lived here and passed away and then the family have put all of their unwanted things in it as well and then they’ve holiday let it. It would be 100% nicer if they went in and cleared all of the personal things away, got rid of extra furniture, took out anything unnecessary and took it back to a fresh and clean feel/look. White or at the very least plain bed linen is a MUST in a holiday let. Anyway, we coped but it was in no way pleasant.
