Fantastic location near Piazza Teatro, and within walking distance to everything. The perfect home away from home with all the amenities. Host Daniela and her mother were readily available to help and went out of their way to welcome us with freshly prepared treats, water, etc. which was greatly appreciated after our extremely long flight from Canada. Would highly recommend this home if you’re looking for a comfortable and relaxing place to stay.

What lovely hostesses Daniela and her mum Giovanna are. You’ll certainly be very well looked after and I echo all the other stellar reviews here based on which I too chose Casa del Campanil for our holiday. Communication is great, arrival and departure great, cleanliness standards amazing (the towels smell so nice), the flat has everything you will need and much more, their generosity is second to none, from traditional pastries, lots of other goodies for breakfast including coffee and milk, shower gel and shampoo in the bathroom, beach towels and other beach gear — just not enough words to say thank you.
This is not about the property it is about Alghero’s historic centre: it’s a strictly no traffic area. There is parking outside the city walls (parcheggio della pace) but at 20€ a day it may be something to budget for. It’s also a 10min walk to the flat, if you choose your route you needn’t deal with steps or uphills etc when you are carting your luggage, but for older people of those with a disability that may be an issue.

L'appartement est très propre et est placé dans le centre ancien proche de toutes les commodités et pourtant au calme. Daniela se plie en 4 et elle réserve pleins de petites intentions pour ses invités

Ideal location in a quieter pocket of the historic centre.
The apartment has everything you need.
Exceptional host (Daniela), who can provide a wealth of advice, is responsive and welcoming.
The traditional biscotti prepared by Daniela’s mum that greet you on arrival were sensational. She is the nonna you never had.
