No 1 The Hinges

We have been twice before , a few changes , we like the position of the property and parking.

The other property that you share the parking with, the two couples bought with them two small motorhomes , not cars , a VW Transporter and a Ford equivalent making parking a real problem , we had a disagreement immediately we arrived as they parked one outside the door which only half opened then. There used to be a parking plan in the rental not there now. After the disagreement we managed to swap positions to make parking a little better, had they not agreed it would have been a nightmare. The occupants must only bring normal cars , there must be some stipulations on the rental. It will affect weather we book again.

Very cosy property in a brilliant location. The village is very pretty and had welcoming vibes. The people were nice. The property was a short walk to the most beautiful beach. The two pubs were lovely and the Londis was a convenient quick walk and had everything we needed. The Cornishman pub did amazing food. Highly recommend.

The sofa wasn’t very comfortable when sitting for a while. But it fits into the size of the room. I love the attic bedroom but did bang my head a few times on the low roof- and I’m small. That said the bed was super comfy.

Being very picky...larger settee to relax more maybe. No garden outside space to sit out in really as cars about. Just be wary there is no ensuite, it's downstairs bathroom so need a little night light in middle of night, I used a tiny bike light I left on the bottom step.

Location was excellent for us, that's why we chose the Hinges.

A sign saying the Hinges would have been useful, as we tried totally the wrong property twice! Also no chance of getting in before 5pm which is a bit out of the ordinary these days, 3pm would be more suitable after a long day driving to Cornwall.
