A very nice, clean and friendly place to stay in Longwy

We had a very enjoyable stay here (3 nights)! The room was clean and nice, the bed is comfortable, and the landlord was very friendly and ready to help. The kitchen is well equipped, you may have your meals in a spacious (shared) dining room. A few practical hints: - Longwy is close to Luxembourg. Thus, this place is a good option if you wish to explore the city of Luxembourg (or some other places, such as Esch-sur-Alzette) and wish to find a more affordable and decent accommodation. - if you arrive by car, you may sometimes have to leave your car some 100 meters away. But with some probability, you will be able to park the car right at the main entrance. - we had a shower and a sink in our room. We also had a toilet at our disposal, which was situated, however, outside the room, i.e. we had to go through the kitchen in order to reach it. Still, it is still a "private toilet" since no one else uses it. - Breakfast: you may expect a sweet French breakfast, and as much coffee as you wish. If you rather prefer eating other things, just tell it to the landlord and / or buy yourself the food you like.

An excellent one night stopover.

Very friendly and helpful hosts. Room was comfortable and everything was very clean and tidy. We were the only guests staying on the night we were there, so had lots of room and privacy. We carelessly left something in the room, but luckily it was found very quickly and we were contacted before we had driven very far. We were very very grateful for this prompt action.

Friendly people offering a great price for two guests

We picked this place as it was half-way between Switzerland and The Netherlands. It turned out to be a very typical small town in the Ardennen with steep sloping streets, terraced houses and beautiful surroundings. The house itself is quite old, lovely wooden staircase, and indeed, painted a wonderful framboise colour. We had a large room with twin beds, which was great for my sister and I.

Just one drawback was that the toilet was in the corridor, while the shower was in the room. For us it would have been better the other way around, you need a toilet more often than a shower.

Midweek stayover, visiting a concert at Rockhall in Esch-sur-Alzette, Luxembourg

The beds are comfortable, breakfast is available and can be had at any given time in the morning. It is in a quiet place, making sleeping comfortable. The owner is friendly and communicative. Overall it is a great place to stay, at a very friendly price.

The stay is comfortable, location is easy to find, the hosts are amazing and very welcome. Good breakfast with everything one can want to start the day.

WiFi was spotty sometimes, but nothing serious or detrimental to the stay whatsoever.

Highly recommended - wonderful family location very quiet.

Just fantastic. The family hosting us was just wonderful. The rooms and facilities were beautiful. Very large communal kitchen and breakfast areas.

Parking is a little tight and the location was up the hill from most restaurants (required drive). We had one very large suitcase which was challenging to get up the spiral staircase.

Madame Chantal est adorable, je me suis sentie comme à la maison. Et surtout le degré de propreté de cet endroit est incroyable, c'est un aspect important pour moi. Femme très accueillante, souriante, sympathique avec qui j'ai pu échanger mais aussi rigoler. C'était agréable, en plus d'être venue me chercher sous la pluie que demander de plus. Exceptionnel !

Une agréable surprise ! Chantal nous a accueillis chaleureusement, et tout était préparé avec amour. L’emplacement, à seulement 15 minutes du château de Cons-la-Grandville où nous nous rendons pour un mariage, est idéal. Nous recommandons vivement cet endroit.

Voor 1 nacht goed verblijf en goede bedden.

Ontbijt was geheel zelfvoorzienend. Alles stond verpakt klaar. Maar dus niet vers en daardoor minder smakelijk. Kamer goed voor 1 nacht. Gastheer en gastvrouw vriendelijk en behulpzaam.

早餐简单，但也足以。家庭宾馆，我是在二层的房间，还有马赛一对夫妻也住二层，就我们两家。公用厨房和餐厅，非常方便，自己可以煮茶和煮咖啡。卫生间和洗澡间是单独的。房主夫妇在一层，是年纪偏大的夫妻。房间干净、卫生、整洁和舒适。有wifi，免费停车。距离市中心广场有点距离，但也不算远，我们一路走过去，一路拍照，遍地野花，非常好看。市中心是古城堡，也是世界文化遗产。

De grote kamer met aangesloten badkamer was fantastisch. De badkamer is modern, ruim met een prachtige douche. de faciliteiten in de keuken waren compleet en netjes schoon met veel ruimte. De eetkamer voor het ontbijt is groot genoeg voor 8 personen . met uitgebreide ontbijt mogelijkheden. Je kunt gebruik maken van magnetron, oven, hetelucht oven haar, vaatwasser, ijskast heel compleet. de ontvangst door de host was super vriendelijk en entre via sleutelkastje makkelijk.

Savonds aangekomen en de parkeer plaatsen op zondag avond waren vol wel aan de straat op 10 min lopen afstand kunnen parkeren.
