A cosy and comfortable cottage near Pont-y-Pair bridge

Great location for exploring the village and the rest of the national park. several places to eat drink and shop within easy walking distance and pretty much the whole area less than an hour by car away. You can go walking right from the village without using the car. The cottage was vert cosy and had a lot of character with modern yet traditional furnishing and decor which was of good quality and tasteful (to our eyes) and seemed relatively fresh. Wi-Fi was good which was a bonus for the kids and for streaming on the TV. My son said was his favorite holiday home we had ever stayed in !

It was slightly annoying that some of the towels were still in the washing machine damp when we arrived so we had to re-wash and dry them to use them. The parking is not something they could do much about (its a bonus to have any free parking at all in the village) but it may be difficult for a nervous driver to access up the very narrow steep lane, and it was lucky there were never more than two cars up there (including ours) as it could be difficult to turn around and park with more there especially if they were larger cars or Vans.

Lovely little house in betws y coed, was comfortable and had everything we needed. Is a short walk from the centre of the town and the supermarket. Has parking (though one of the days it was completely full).

Cosy cottage in a great location

Comfortable and cosy cottage in a great location. Had everything we needed and it was a lovely touch to be left Welsh cakes for breakfast. Wish we could have stayed longer.

The lockbox was a bit tricky to work out.

Great location a bit of tlc needed

Location is great

The steep slope to the property on both sides no lights to the slope ,no thought about the entrance to the property small slabs which need to be cleaned as slippery, plenty of weeds up the path,no real signs to the car parking also not light as own by a chain profit is more important than what should be done. Also as soon as you open the front door the damp smell welcomes you not a great start. For the price should be better.

Door to 2nd bathroom warped and would not close properly. Lock also non functional.

No Heating and hotwater for 2 days. Waste holiday time Troubleshooting the heating system your self.

Well equipped kitchen.

We stayed over Christmas and on Christmas day and Boxing Day had no heating or hot water! We had to trouble shoot this ourselves and there is a known ( to property owners) problem with pressure and the boiler. I am really cross they rented out a property over Christmas with heating problems - I asked for a part refund and guess what, no response! I still expect a part refund as did not get what we paid for. Cottage not fit fir purpose. Also bed is very uncomfortable and lumpy. Pedal Bins in both bathrooms were filthy and covered in dirt. Toilet paper supplied was 1 ply and not appropriate.

The cottage had everything you needed, and it was very comfortable. Right in the middle of the beautiful village of Betws-y-coed, great cafes and pubs and great shops.Always love coming here, and it never disappoints

It would have been nice if they left us some milk to get us started. very little watered-down hand saop in bathroom and tiny amount of washing up liquid, we are used to this being supplied as the normal. We could connect to the WiFi. I have an android phone, and my husband has an iPhone, neither would connect, that needs looking at as it was frustrating. The bed was very comfortable, but the quilt was very thick, and as the weather was very good, the duvet was very warm, and I slept on top of duvet.

Peaceful and just what we needed after a full on day at my son's wedding, held just up the road!

Only minor issue was parking spaces. There were 4 cars for the adjoining property and we couldn't fit our car in the space, due to how they'd parked - we parked in the car park a bit lower down the lane - assumed it was ok!

Comfortable, clean and cozy house in a beautiful village.

Very clean, good sized rooms, warm and cozy house. Good location, central to the village but a little back from the road.

Parking is tricky. We didn't have a car but we did get a supermarket delivery, and the van had trouble finding the house and then it was difficult for them to deliver the shopping.

Very comfortable and in good location.

I thought it was a bit expensive for only 4 nights. A little bit dark inside but this was primarily due to the small windows which were due to the nature of the cottage.

The property and location was amazing. We loved the quietness and privacy, although it was very close to the high street and ammenities. We loved it.

Not a problem but I drive a big car and it was a little tight to get up the drive.

location was up a short path from the main road in Betwys Y Coed. From the picture I had thought it was further out, but useful spot to start walks from Commfortable cottage

The property was spacious and well equipped. It was clean and the beds were comfortable.

The boiler had a fault while we were there so we had no heating or hot water when we returned from completing our marathon on Saturday. Thankfully one of the two showers was an electric shower so we were able to use this. I contacted the owner who tried to get a plumber but was unsuccessful that night - so it was not fixed before our checkout on Sunday morning.

Excellent location and facilities. The bungalow is tucked out of the way with its own car park but is only a short walk from shops and eating places if you need them.The bungalow was exceptionally clean and very well serviced with all the appliances you could wish for.

Air needs bleeding from some of the radiators . I can't think of anything else. :)

Loved it!!

The cottage was beautiful, perfectly sized and beds were exceptionally comfortable. Perfect location for browsing Betws-y-coed and for great access to the walks up and around Snowdon. Would 100% recommend and would revisit.

Due to the staying during the bank holiday weekend all the food establishments were very busy and with no booking service to pre arrange a meal in the local area of Betws-y-coed but plenty of other places in the nearby areas.
