This property was absolutely stunning. With landscaped gardens, the views, undercover parking which was needed in the hot weather and then the large pool. With only 6 apartments it is never busy and to be honest we found we were the only ones there at times so had it all to ourselves.
Then there is Monica, the owner who is amazing. She was so helpful and her little touches like snacks and drinks in the apartments to her knowledge on where to go for food or day trips. She went above and beyond. The apartment and grounds were also spotlessly clean. It is also has electric gates so felt secure so I would definitely come back here again and if you want peace and quiet then this is the place as I have never slept so well.
It was a little out of the way (Only 10 mins) to the main roads so you would need a car if you wanted to get about but saying that the plus side is that it was really quiet. To be honest I couldn't fault this property in any way.

Situation au calme, idéale et centrale pour vadrouiller entre villes et montagnes. Balades dans Acireale et Taormine/Castelmola, randonnées sur Etna Sud et Etna Nord, baignades dans les gorges de Alcantara. Accès en moins de 10 minutes en voiture à toutes commodités (supermarché, boulangeries, restaurants...)

Teveel om op te noemen. Wat een prachtige accommodatie. Onder de rook van de ETNA is hier iets neergezet wat je verwachtingen overstijgt. Een heerlijk zwembad. Niet teveel appartementen. Geweldige locatie om terug te komen na diverse dagtrips. 10 dagen was mijn inziens nog te kort. Chapeau! Van alle gemakken voorzien. Een TOP locatie en zeker een aanrader om te boeken als je rondom de ETNA wil vertoeven. Vanuit deze locatie zijn we overal geweest tot zelfs Syracuse...
Tja, wat viel mij tegen. Van de accommodatie helemaal niets. Alles was perfect. Maar buiten deze locatie is het ons zwaar tegengevallen. De route naar de snelweg (TOL) was dramatisch met zéér slechte wegen vol gaten, mafketels op de weg en het afval wat overal zomaar wordt gedumpt maakt van Sicilië een vies eiland. De Sicilianen moeten zich diep schamen. Het nodige niet uit om weer te gaan. Okay... Toeristische trekpleisters en bezienswaardigheden in overvloed. De natuur, de ETNA, allemaal prachtige dingen gezien. Godfather routes en locaties allemaal puik. Maar het zwerfafval erom heen is diep bedroevend. Wat waren wij gelukkig met Il Casale di Monacella.

Un po’ sguarnita la cucina come utensili in particolare dei coltelli che tagliassero !
