Dos Torres Exclusivos en Calle Alfonso I

The location is near perfect. The apartment is on Calle San Alfonso I, which goes directly into the Basilica and main plaza (less than a 5 minute walk away). The apartment is spacious and well-appointed. The A/C is very strong and kept the apartment at a very comfortable 20°C/68°F even though it was nearly 35°C/95°F outside in August. Some reviewers mentioned crowd noise from the street but we didn’t have that problem. Another great feature of the apartment is the wooden blackout blinds, which for some reason produce near-perfect darkness in the main room (with a sofa bed) but are only about 90% effective in the bedroom.

The price was a bit excessive because it was the week of the eclipse, but if you are ever going to Zaragoza I cannot imagine a better place to stay. Why would you stay in a small hotel room when for a similar price you could have a full kitchen, laundry, dishwasher, refrigerator with freezer and a separate locker-door bedroom?

You will hop through the hoops many time until you get to apartment. I messaged the property few times before arrival asking for detection but the only what I received the automatic reply saying do online check in. Because it is hysterical part of the town a taxi can’t get you right to the building. This is why the clear direction will be very handy. Once you do online check in they will send you direction and details of how to get to the appointment. We were staying outside on sun trying to fill up the info and hopping that will get further information. It was like a quest room that you didn’t pay for! Outside is very busy and noisy all the time, even during the night. The property management did cheap out on garage bags and napkins. You get on garage bag in the kitchen kit. At the time we arrived we had no garbage bags in the bin so we asked if someone can bring us some Nobody replied that day The next day they reply that you have one in the kitchen kit but we will bring you more Just for you to understand we were leaving the next day so it was too late to use it. I would highly recommend the property management just not to cheap out and leave in the property a roll of garbage bags and pack of napkins

The property has a wonderful location - right in the centre of the old Town so easy to access everything. The apartment was also very clean and the bed was comfortable. The internet is also pretty good which I needed it to be as I was working for a few days.

Unfortunately the main advantage of the apartment is its biggest Achilles heel - namely its location. The apartment is just ridiculously noisy. The soundproofing is non existent and the noise from the Main Street is constant and never ending. As I result I didn’t have one good nights sleep here out of five due to people yelling or singing outside at 3, 4 and 5 o’clock in the morning. Earplugs didn’t really help. The other big minus point for me is the lack of any basic kitchen food stuffs. I would expect at least some sugar, oil, salt, pepper, herbs etc when staying somewhere with a full kitchen. There was absolutely nothing. It would cost very little just to provide a few basics and although I ended up buying them I didn’t feel like I should have had to. With this in mind the price the price I paid for this - £580 for 5 days was in retrospect very expensive. This was for an apartment with no breakfast. We’re not talking Madrid or Barcelona here but Zaragoza and I could have got a hotel room for much better value. The apartment was nice but in no way was it worth what I paid.
