The location of the hotel is one of the striking features. It is very close to the Triveni Ghat. We had a car, so we drove down to ghat . There's paid parking which is good enough. The best part about the hotel is that even though it has a small footprint, the staff is excellent. Everyone indoors carries a smile on his face and is extremely hospitable and courteous. The rooms were a pleasant surprise to us - they were very roomy., unlike hotels where you feel constrained on space. It's a very quiet hotel even though it's situated on the station road. But come any festival, there's quite a din outside. The restaurant was spic and span. However, I wish they'd install a uv filter for one of the odd stray flies. The breakfast menu is basic but functional. Lunch and dinner seem a little limited if you're just looking at North Indian cuisine. However the staff, esp Upendra Bisht guides you very eloquently through the choices. There's a lot of power cuts that happen here but the backup power kicks in pretty fast. However it does make you go through the exercise of reprogramming tv channels.

I wish the rooms had better views to complement their interiors and the comfort of the hotel. There also needs to be somewhat of what proactivity looks like if you've got your own car, it wouldn't hurt much to ask ifhe'd like his car washed. Switching on the fridge seems to be a guest responsibility. However no instructions were present for guidance.
