Terrible
The location wasn’t bad.
The whole place is falling apart. There was no water coming out of the hot tap on bath/shower. Ladybird infestation inside and mould on windows and around bath. Left a day early and made a complaint.

Property unloved in need of TLC
The property was easy to find and was in a pleasant location. The bed was very comfortable.
The property was looking very tired. Sad to see that problems raised by reviewers last year have still not been rectified. Frayed carpet, missing light shades in bedroom and lounge, one bedside lamp for two double beds, no hair dryer, cob webs, mould around windows and inside fridge, damaged radiators, curtain hold backs not secure, damaged skirting board in lounge area, ladybirds fell onto windowsill when window opened and outside area uninviting. Also the shower controls were quite stiff and the temperature range was too narrow and far too hot to use. No rubber bath mat despite it being quite slippy.

Lovely location
We liked the location, it was quiet and very pretty the facilities were good and it was comfortable. It was pet friendly which is a bonus. The neighbour was lovely and very friendly. Close to great places to visit. Would recommend providing the owners gave it a bit of TLC 😁
The house is very tired looking , it needs some TLC . A coat of paint all through and the carpets could do with a good clean. Nothing that would take too much effort or cost too much. .

OK but could be so much better
Good location. Friendly neighbours.
Rather shabby, needs some TLC. Bare light bulb in 2nd bedroom, other 3 light fittings only had 1 working bulb in each. 4 people staying only 2 sets of towels supplied. No hair dryer which was supposed to be supplied.

We actually loved house and location was perfect and would stay again.The house just needs full clean and tiny bits like
The location was lovely and by the river. It was close to amenities but set away from the road so quiet with well kept communal gardens with its own private outdoor patio space .
We liked the property but it is need of a little bit of updating for example: The bath needs re ceiling as old sealant is coming away around the bath and needs re doing so it looks clean and also will protect any water dripping into loose gaps. The taps may need checking as they drip and bit stiff so needed double checking they were fully off. This was in bathroom upstairs and downstairs toilet and kitchen taps But should be easy for host to fix. The kitchen pots and utensils needed washing This maybe due to tiny oversight by cleaner’s and again easy for host to resolve. The house could do with a deep clean The tooth brush holder was in need of really good clean The skirting in toilets and in rooms need deep clean and the Blankets in front room needed freshen up wash. There were lightbulbs that need to be replaced in hallway and front room and the outside light was Not working. The second bedroom could do with a wardrobe and a full length mirror. The outside patio needs sweeping as it had some animal droppings on it and would look nicer if cleaned.

Good dog friendly stop
The location is great and it felt safe. It was roomy enough and though due to a last minute change of plan we didn’t take our dog, it was certainly dog friendly.
Not the cleanest but it wasn’t too bad. The boiler kept blowing out but it was easily relit
