Our room was very comfortable, the check in process was well managed and dinner advice was welcomed. Access to complimentary drinks was appreciated. The decor was very much in period and certainly added to the ambience of the mansion.
The large number of dead flies and roaches on the floor of the bedroom was off putting. The unsecured toilet seat was dangerous and led to several anxious moments particularly at night!! Breakfast was well cooked but limited in choice and amount. The price we paid led us to expect more.

The location was close to restaurants (about a 15 minute walk) and close to two historic home which we visited. Breakfast was very good, coffee as well and served in a beautiful dining room in the house. The house is spectacular, museum like, well cared for. Property manager was very cordial, helpful and a pleasure to have met. We enjoyed our first visit to Macon and had a wonderful experience at the Burke Mansion. We would stay again and recommend it.
Our bed was a bit too soft for my spouse's liking. Our bathroom was on the small size. Next time we will opt for a larger room but overall very lovely.
