I booked this hotel without hesitation after checking reviews on Google and booking.com. I booked a deluxe room with sound-proofing (as claimed by hotel) along with other amenities. On arrival, I was allocated a room with two single beds although my booking was confirmed for a queen bed. The person on receiption asked me to push and join two beds together! Once I showed him 'Queen bed' in booking confirmation, he allocated a different room. Unfortunately, that room ended up being the noisiest room in my opinion. There were cracks on wall which on its own was not an issue to me until insects started to appear from there. Once I showed picture, I was given insect spray rather than offering a different room.  Since the room was for a couple, I expected two keycards but I was given only one. When I asked for another, they said it would cost 100,000 rupiah (non refundable). However, there was another person sitting besides the guy I was talking to nudged him and mumbled something. That led him to hand another keycard. Whatever the policy is, I think it is plainly wrong to offer one keycard for a room with two guests. Most importantly, I had to approach multiple people as they didn't seem to understand Indonesian translation from Google translation. It would appear that bathroom knob need some maintenance as knob is loose to the point, it falls whenever one tries to use shower. Knob landed in my wife's foot hurting toe. Checking out time is between 10:00 to 11:00 which is another headache. At this point, you may ask yourself whether it is worth staying. The answer would be, from my point of view, 'No' as we could not sleep at all during our stay. We left earlier due to noise torture! My experience may not represent what actually is hotel offers but I can only say what I experienced. I would sincerely request management to look into this, perhaps let the guests know in advance what dB to expect in rooms.
