The house is very nice and clean and super close to the beach

Es war eine sehr saubere Unterkunft mit ruhiger Lage. Die Stadt war nicht weit entfernt, somit konnte man immer in paar Minuten mit dem Auto zur Strandpromenade in Iraklitsa und Nea Peramos gelangen. Nicht zu vergessen waren verschiedenste Strände nicht weit entfernt. Ich empfehle den Ammoloi Strand, dieser war auch nicht weit weg. Würde anderen Urlaubern die einfach mal abschalten wollen und abends mal raus gehen wollen, diese Unterkunft aufjedenfall Fall empfehlen. Nicht zu vergessen war der Gastgeber sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit.

* The villa is well located – 7–10 minutes from the beach, close to Lidl and restaurants. * The layout is nice, the pool is clean and enjoyable, and the lighting in the evenings is lovely. * Beds and furniture were comfortable, and the space was generally clean. * The backyard terrace had a beautiful view (reminded us of Morocco), but unfortunately no table or chairs to use it. * It was mostly quiet, which we appreciated.

* No doors in bedrooms: Worth noting – there is no real privacy between rooms, so sound travels easily. If someone is downstairs talking or snoring, it can be heard upstairs clearly. This makes it difficult for light sleepers or families with babies. * Lack of hospitality: There was little sense of care or attention. Communication with the host was inconsistent – we had scheduled meetings (for check-out or admin reasons) and he was often 20–30 minutes late. During our vacation, we had to wait or rearrange our plans more than once. * Baby & child facilities: We were traveling with a baby and had requested a cot via Booking and confirmed again in advance. When we arrived, there was no cot. Eventually, one was provided but without any sheets or blankets. Luckily, we had brought our own. Also, the listing mentioned “baby safety gates”, but these were not available. There are stairs in the villa, so this was a real concern. * Limited key access: There’s only one key, and it’s also used to power the house. This makes going in and out tricky and raises a risk of locking someone in or out. * Frequent unannounced visits: Over 4 of the 6 days, various people entered the property area (pool cleaner, gardener, housekeeper). While maintenance is necessary, these could be scheduled when guests are out. It was hard to fully relax knowing strangers might appear around the house. * Maintenance: Some items were not well maintained – e.g., the electric kettle, and the area around the kitchen sink had a moldy smell. * Parking: No designated parking – guests park in a grassy, open field in front of the villas. It works, but there’s no sense of security. * In comparison: At the same time, my father stayed in a nearby villa and the difference was clear: there were thoughtful touches like coffee, sugar, salt, treats a fully prepared baby and even a baby chair. The host made them feel truly welcomed and was very very kind.
