This property in itself is what dreams are made of. But the true magic is Sheila. Sheila was so helpful when I reached out to her about wanting to stay at Pemaquid when I proposed to my girlfriend. She was eager to help make it memorable, and that it was. For an entire weekend, we got to be the keepers of this stunning lighthouse. A hot shower, clean bathroom, cozy bed, and a couch for us to watch the waves...it exceeded my expectations in every way possible. Check in and out was a breeze. Sheila and this property allowed for us to have the most memorable engagement trip, and I am forever thankful.

Fabulous 3 day get away. The views are spectacular. Hearing and seeing the waves crash continuallly, and experiencing different weather conditions throughout the stay adds to the beauty. Apartment was clean had all the necessities to make the stay pleasurable. Highly recommended!

After visiting the Lighthouse for decades we were lucky enough to lock in a week at the apartment-someone must have cancelled! To be able to expierence the Lighthouse and coastline up close and personal was special indeed. To hear the sounds of the surf, the seagulls and see the lighthouse at night was a treat. The apartment is a nice size, steep steps getting in and out and unfortunately not having a door between the kitchen and bedroom was a challange for a couple with an early riser and one not. But, we made it work.

This is the perfect location for a relaxing getaway. The cottage was clean and had everything we needed. Sheila was a great host and was very responsive. We are already thinking of planning another trip to this beautiful location.
