This semi-detached cottage lies in the coastal village of Auchmithie, Scotland and can sleep five people in two bedrooms.
Blue Skies Cottage is a semi-detached bungalow situated in the fishing village of Auchmithie, Scotland. Hosting two bedrooms, including a king-size and a family room with double and single bed, along with a shower room, this cottage can sleep up to five guests. There is also a kitchen and a living/dining room with woodburning stove. To the outside is roadside parking on a first come, first served basis. Blue Skies Cottage is a great base for exploring the scenic coastline of East Scotland.
Amenities: Oil central heating with woodburning stove. Electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, TV with Roku, WiFi, selection of books and games. Fuel and power inc. in rent. Bed linen and towels inc. in rent. Travel cot and highchair available. Off-road parking up to 3 cars. One well-behaved pet welcome. Sorry, no smoking. Shop 2.7 miles, pub 3.2 miles, beach 0.3 miles

Within the town there is also a number of shops, pubs, restaurants and cafés, as well as some fascinating buildings such as the Arbroath Abbey and Arbroath Smokie, both well worth a visit. Coastal walks and cycling can be enjoyed from the town and there are a few golf courses nearby.

We had a lovely stay. The cottage was very comfortable and very warm. The kitchen was really well-equipped - possibly the best equipped I've stayed in. The only thing missing was a potato masher, but we improvised with a wine bottle! The beds were extremely comfortable, with good quality pillows and bedding. Lovely garden, too, which our Collie enjoyed investigating. The location was great - lots of lovely walks. Arbroath 10 mins away if we needed shopping. We went to nearby Lunan Bay, which had a lovely beach. Hopefully we will return, as we did have a fantastic time.
