Very spacious. I appreciated the comfort and layout. I also appreciated the tranquility very, very much. Neighbors have dogs but didn't allow them to bark incessantly. I tip my hat to them! Cloudcroft seemed to have an overall good vibe,
We enjoyed the proximity to basic groceries, restaurants and shops. We also enjoyed the proximity to the ski slope. There was nowhere near enough snow while we visited (Christmas) but we did get to take the crash course and enjoyed the training slope. It's perfect for first-timers.
Brother-N-Law BBQ was delicious. I can't speak to the other restaurants in town since we fixed most of our meals in the home. There were plenty of dishes, utensils and cooking apparatuses to cook just about anything. The outdoor gas grill was handy for making burgers.
You should be aware that your GPS may want to route you to the property via some very sharp and potentially dangerous turns. The easy (and short) route has no sharp turns, only a modest grade which can be managed under most conditions with any ordinary vehicle.
Most of the roads around the property are caliche paths. As a result, some dust will be generated (when dry) any time a vehicle passes. It's not a big deal unless you're sitting or having a meal outside. Traffic is generally pretty minimal, anyway.
Contrary to instructions, physical keys were not provided. After quite a bit of searching along with some fiddling with the electronic door lock and a phone call to the host, I was able to lock the door from outside the house.

Needs TV's in the bedrooms, update the decor.
I tried to email the contact person twice and never received a response. Had to call because they had the door code completely wrong.

Great location, awesome cabin, and very well equipped & super clean.
The Master bathroom may have a leak, the floor is wet.
