The property was perfect for a short stay. It is compact but has everything you need and, in good weather, there is a lovely decking outside with a great view of the river.

The silverfish on the bathroom floor and partially obscuring the bathroom window would have made me feel a bit more comfortable.

Excellent little property. Great views and perfect for walks etc.

I’d only stay here if you can use the outdoor space as inside is very cramped. Breakfast bar with 2 stools and very small lounge area with a 2 seater sofa - definitely not ‘spacious’ as described. The decking is a great size with nice views - it’s a peaceful space…morning sun. Co-op and pub 2-mins away. OK location in Newton Ferrers although tricky to get to Noss Mayo when tide is in; drive or a walk around the end of the estuary.

BEDROOM - There’s little space in the bedroom to unpack or keep your suitcase open. There’s a few small drawers and a small rail to hang some stuff out. And as someone else said - the pillows are dreadful - thin feathers I think - which I’m allergic to. This wouldn’t cost much to sort out! And there’s a mirror which needs hanging at a proper height so you can view more than from the waist down! KITCHEN - Tricky to cook inside as so little space. - No grill tray (bring your own) - one small frying pan, 2 pans, a sieve, measuring jug and rectangular serving bowl. Some nasty place mats and oven gloves - luckily I brought my own. - Oven/microwave/grill combi which is challenging and a pain when you want to use it as a microwave, as you keep having to take everything out of the oven! - No potato peeler. - nice touch of providing a sponge, cloth, washing up liquid, dishwasher tablets & dish cloth. And liquid hand soap x2. - only one hand towel provided so bring one for the kitchen BATHROOM - Needs some shelves as there’s nowhere to put your wash bag. Small mirror at an angle which is hopeless. Two large towels provided. DECKING/BALCONY - The Outside Decking is dwarfed by the owners house so it feels a bit intimidating (even though I don’t think they were there for our stay) - There is one sunshade parasol which needs fixing as there is no rope to pull it up or pin to make it stay up! - There is a charcoal, rusty, BBQ which we didn’t even attempt to use - just went straight out and bought 2 ready-made ones from the co-op in Yealmpton. - Decking is quite a way back from the actual water front and faces South-East so no sun in the evening… (past about 4pm). Nice in the morning.
