There was lot to like.It was quiet,lot’s of towels available as well as many things you could think of.I really didn’t use kitchen during my week but there was everything you could think.Shower was very good,lot’s of nice coffee places around and communication with the host excellent.

It was not fault of the property that weather was bad during my whole stay so it was little cold inside as well,you just needed to put AC to hot.

Perfect base in Shkodër

Spacious, clean and fully equipped apartment with everything you might need. Central location close to everything. Friendly and helpful host! Perfect value for money. I can hardly imagine a better base for our trips in the northern part of Albania - we stayed for four nights and would not mind spending more time there.

Parking might be a bit tricky, but we always found a spot.

Simon’s place is AMAZING. It is so spacious, beautifully decorated and very comfortable. We only stayed in Shkoder for one night but we wished we had more time to relax at Simon’s apartment. it is perfectly appointed with every amenity you could need for your stay. The location is very close to everything, there is lots of car parking nearby, and Simon is a very attentive host. Don’t look past this place for your stay. I saw a review mention that the building appears ‘sketchy’ but please know that many families and older people live in the same apartment and it is not dangerous at all!

Lovely place to stay in Shkodra

The apartament is situated quite near the city center, which allowed us to walk to most popular locations. The interior itself is quite nicely decorated, warm and had all necessary appliances(microwave, hairdryer, tv, laptop etc). The host was very nice and communicative. Overall we enjoyed our stay and fully recommend this property!

A very good choice in Shkoder!

A really well-equipped apartment, all in good function and practical. Nothing more to wish. The host waited outside the apartment and came to me just as I stopped the car - really service (I am afraid he had been waiting for an hour). He offered help of any kind during the stay and answered promptly when I contacted him. He also was flexible regarding check out. 5-10 min. to walk to the most central attractions. I definitely recommend this place for a stay in Shkoder!

Absolutely wonderful in every detail.

The apartment was thoughtfully furnished and arranged. The kitchen and supplies were outstanding. There were no half-measures taken in insuring the guests comfort and satisfaction. This apartment is very well suited to longer stay and for people who cook and dine at "home". Because it does feel like "home" Amazing price to value ratio.

PLEASE ignore the exterior of the building. The beauty of the apartment is inversely proportional to the building.

The best ever stay in albania

Everything! what an amazing apartment equipped with absolutely everything you need and more! Tastefully furnished to high quality for the guests comfort. The host has equipped right down to the last detail even slippers at the door. Washing machine, dishwasher, ample choice of crockery, utensils, glasses. Amazingly fluffy thick hotel bath towels. Lovely friendly helpful host very attentive to guests having a great stay. Even a laptop to use. One of the bests hosts I have ever met and the best apartment that I have ever stayed in.

Probably the best price/quality stay in Shkoder!

The host was super nice (sorry, I did not get your name when we met 🥲), very attentive all the time, and responded very fast. The apartment was super big and very clean! Impeccable! Do not be deceived by the external look of the building, the inside is super nice and the area is very very safe. The beds were spacious and super comfortable, probably the best ones during our entire trip to Albania. Through the bedroom window, there is a small garden so it's quite peaceful. As for the kitchen, I've never seen so perfectly equipped one like this! You could even bake if you really wanted! lol All kinds of utensils are available. The shower was the best one during our trip also, with a shower booth (I realized that most Albanian bathrooms do not have a shower booth), very clean with a good supply of hot water. The bathroom even had a vanity mirror! In the living room, wifi passwords and booklets full of information about Shkoder! The location was also perfect, only 10 min walking to the central plaza where you take most buses and also the famous Boulevard. And 30 min by walking to Rozafa Castle (a must-visit place, go before the sunset) Also, he gave us nice selections of restaurants where we enjoyed good food with a nice ambience :) You can find more about my Albanian trip experience on @petit_traveler

The only negative thing was that there was some kind of water pump and it made a buzzing sound every 30 sec or so. Because we were on the second floor, the sound/vibration was very big so I could not sleep in the bedroom with a comfortable bed. Fortunately, I had a sleeping pill and I took it and slept on the sofa in the living room. But my husband slept comfortably in the bed 😂 I noticed the host and he said it was the first time he heard about this issue. I was quite stressed but anyways it was not his fault at all, and he apologized for the inconvenience caused. Nonetheless, this stay was one of the best and I guess this problem is gone by now!

We loved this apartment - it was very clean and spacious, has a well equipped kitchen with a washing machine, fast WiFi and international TV channels. Easy walking distance to the center. Very friendly owner, he stored our luggage when we hiked Valbona to Theth. Highly recommended!

the apartment is really beautiful. newly reconstructed within a traditional apartment building of mid 20th century, equipped and decorated with a lot of attention to detail. very clean indeed. it was a real pleasure to stay there. really cosy and comfortable, highly recommended. excellent communication with the owner. free parking in front of the building entrance, a few minutes walk to the very centre of shkadar. all windows with a view into a quiet inner yard of a neighbouring house, where kittens are playing in green vegetation. unbeatable value for money. trully a real Home. i wish to stay there again upon my next visit to shkadar, and more days!

Nice short stay

We stayed only one night but the apartment was very cozy. You've got everything you need, to not only stay there, but to live there. Location is good as well. Walking distance to the city centre.

Excellent stay, highly recommended.

The place: Apartment is well maintained and kept to a high standard. Both living room and the bed room have ACs which is great. Kitchen has everything you need to make a meal. The Host: Great person, he helped us park in front of the entrance to the apartment (on street parking on a by road). Helped us to carry our bags upstairs (we have a baby, so plenty of luggage :) ). The location: Basically in the middle of the city, but not facing the main road which is great. There are plenty of places for food and groceries.

A very well equipped apartment

As other reviews highlight, this apartment is exceptionally well equipped - literally everything you could need, including washing machine, kitchen utensils, three different hair styling tools, laptop etc One thing we use to gauge the standard of a property is the shower and this shower was fabulous. Also the towels provided were like luxury hotel towels - huge and fluffy! Great communication from the host. The outside isn’t going to win any awards, but the high standard inside makes up for that. It’s a short walk into the centre which is a bonus. We wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again.

This is the best apartment in Shkoder. A few steps from the centre with bars and shops and restaurants. Superb conditions.The house has a fully equipped kitchen, restroom, bedroom, clean bathroom. All amenities you may need included, extremely comfortable beds, Netflix, Laptop etc. Perfect choice to stay in Shkodra. Recommended 100%.

Fabulously, well named apartment in the heart of town

Fabulous safe quiet location just a hundred meters or so from the pedestrian area of downtown with lots of shops, bars, coffee shops and excellent restaurants nearby. There is a wonderful bakery nearby on the main street and a supermarket just a few meters away. Cakes in nearby shops will have you drooling. Easy access to the roads to Theth and Koman and we found the apartment to be perfectly situated for day trips to both, although the road to the latter can be tricky for low clearance cars unless you drive slowly. Apartment was fabulous and has absolutely everything you could possibly need including a washing machine and powder, dishwasher, toaster, coffee makers, large refrigerator with freezer compartment and even ice cube trays for making ypur sundowner. There's even a toast rack for heaven's sake!!!! Bed is very comfortable has great linens and there are extra blankets if ypu need them. Shower is terrific. Parking is in the white zones on the main street and we usually found a spot quite easily. Host was very communicative and helpful and spoke great English.
