Perfect Christmas stay
Cosy, quiet, perfectly decorated for Christmas. Lovely locals in the area, perfect for dog walkers. peaceful, calm. Lovely views out the back, and street view was very quiet/set back. Fron was kept toasty with timed heating and an adjustable thermostat, but you could override the timer on the boiler for more rapid heating if needed. For reference, you can find Fron opposite number 3 Lon Lan (easier to find) as sat nav only takes you to the street and we all ended up at the farm. It was harder in the dark so if checking in at 4 (winter time) this should make it easier. The bed was massive and really comfortable, with lovely chunky duvets! Tv in the bedroom but we didn’t use. Open log fire - this was such a treat for us and great for coming back to warm up after a cold walk in the area! You can buy logs and kindling at the essar garage down the road or slightly further along is the calor DIY shop. It is an open fire not a log burner but it has a fire guard for spitting. Garden - long pretty garden with a summer house, mostly secure but there’s a section at the back by the summer house that I didn’t trust my dog not to get through! If this could be secured then the four legged friends could have more of an unsupervised wander/sniff :) Kitchen - I used this a lot in the 4 days and cooked Christmas dinner. It had everything I needed and everything worked great - though the hot water was a little temperamental even with the hot water boost on the boiler - used the kettle for boiled water a few times but no big deal :) Shower was really good and a lovely big bathroom! The view from the bathroom and landing windows was really pretty overlooking the fields! There is a stair gate on the stairs and padding for anyone fall to stop hitting their heads FYI- ceilings and lights are low -this didn’t affect me as I’m short but brother and bf both knocked their heads on the ceiling lights host - informative, flexible, helpful :) thank you!
Securing the garden at the back by summer house would be brilliant - there isn’t really anyway of stopping them wandering down the back when letting them out in the day or before bed, so all outdoor dog access has to be supervised currently. Or perhaps blocking the archway with something as a temporary measure :)

Perfect weekend break. Don’t miss the stars!
Exactly like the pics, easy to park, clean, I slept like a baby and even though the weather was terrible on my first evening and day the house was lovely and warm and cosy. Couldn’t ask for more really! Louise was so helpful and kind. I’ll be back! PS if you get a clear sky during your stay, get out in the garden at night and look up, it’s a perfect spot for star-gazing!
The garden is gorgeous, but if you’re travelling with a dog beware of 2 things: 1) that they might be able to get though the bushes into the neighbours garden. 2) there were some nighttime visitors to the garden that left little ‘gifts’ on the lawn for my dog to roll around in. Not a complaint, just a warning to save you the panic of a lost dog, or the joy of having to clean them!

It’s a lovely place with a superb garden and hosts were great
Great location, fantastic garden and summerhouse, very clean, comfy beds upstairs and in summerhouse, very comprehensive information provided by hosts and generally good facilities.
Very minor things- sofa bed in living room is uncomfy, a bit dated, rugs are a nuisance as they keep slipping and rolling up!

Such a beautiful place to stay, I may move to the area due to falling in love with the place. We will definitely be back
The summer house was where we spent our time if we weren’t at the fabulous beaches that surrounded this cottage. We loved it in here, great for relaxing, eating and watching the wonderful nature. The cottage is quirky and has bags of character, beds are super comfortable and the garden is just beautiful. The host is wonderful too, always on hand if needed. Pubs close by as well as a shop that sold fresh crab… delish!! I can’t fault it, just a wonderful stay and had everything you needed. Always parking available at the front of the cottage, friendly village, beautiful home… book it now!! 🤎

Lovely cosy cottage with a great garden. Nice country walks from the doorstep.
Lovely cottage in a great location for exploring local countryside and beaches. Great pub just down the road. The host was brilliant- letting us check in early and check out late and making sure everything was ok at the property. Easter egg on arrival for our little boy which was so kind!
A few gaps in bushes in the garden so had to watch our dog carefully so she didn’t sneak into the neighbours garden

Great space for a family enjoying the Welsh coastline.
Good location. Ideal for our family of 4. Had everything we needed. Garden was a particularly good space and the children really enjoyed playing out there.
Nothing really to dislike. The property could potentially do with a little freshening up in terms of decor. But this didn’t detract from our enjoyment of it and we would certainly visit again.
