Fantastic location and great for families and dogs.

Fantastic location, walkable distance from the sea and set in tranquil surroundings. The caravan was spacious, very clean and our two Labradors were made most welcome. The facilities in the caravan were great and there is everything you need to cook etc. The host was super friendly and very helpful with any advice we needed. We felt relaxed, safe and very well looked after during our stay. This is a little gem and would definitely use again.

Caravan near the sea

The situation was very peaceful. Andrew was most obliging from 1st contact on the phone when I thought we were going to have to change our dates owing to Zip World having no kennel facilities for our dog whilst we were doing the Zip Wire during our stay. He offered to look after the dog for what amounted to 5hrs and made an excellent job of it. He also offered to drive over to Abersoch, 12 miles away, after I phoned to tell him I'd left some underwear in one of the drawers - a very kind host.

We'd expected it to be in a small caravan park so were somewhat surprised to find it at the end of a cul-de-sac in Andrew's garden. However, it proved to be surprisingly peaceful, with cows grazing in the field behind us and a large garden for the dog to run around in.

Caravan by the sea

The host is a lovely man, you have fresh flowers on arrival and can help yourself to his home grown strawberries. You can also hear the farm animals at the back of the van. Although the caravan is old, I found the bed to be the most comfortable caravan bed I have slept in. The caravan can get cold, however there’s numerous electrical heaters dotted around the van. We took Oodies and blankets with us, this added warmth and comfort to the stay. The location is perfect, it’s a five minute drive to a lovely beach plus amenities. It was a personal experience and we loved it. We have had a fab few days exploring parts of Wales we have never been before. We also found Black Rock beach, where you can drive your car onto and park. There’s also water sports on the beach. Andrew was so kind to borrow us some beach gear for my 4 year old son to use. He loved going in and out the sea, the weather was stunning too.

Can get cold but has a few heaters dotted about.
