Remote sandy beach, Chill in nature and adventures of the sea at a beach cottage

Location, location, location! You practically have a private beach. In the six days we were there, we saw less than 20 people on the beach. And it was a holiday! Leslie is an accommodating, knowledgeable, kind host. If you are looking for a tranquil and peaceful location to relax, listen to the ocean and enjoy the beach this is the place.

Wonderful place in a quiet location with super beach and sunsets. Host is super, accommodation was clean & comfortable. It feels you are staying in someone's home. You will most likely want a car, as there are no shops nearby but Avery's and Da Spot offer great vibes and food.

Leslie was the real star of the show here. She was extremely helpful with recommendations and arranged for us to meet someone for check-in even when she was called away. The place was on a beautiful beach and we were able to walk along the sand for about a mile.

We had an incredible 7-day stay at this beautiful home on the south side of New Providence. It is the perfect escape from the crowded tourist areas; the beach is vast and felt almost private, as we only saw four people the entire week. The property features a lovely yard filled with beautiful palm trees right on the beach, and we spent so much time on the terrace in front of the house just taking in the view.A major highlight was the water itself. Unlike the hotel beaches that restrict swimming due to boat traffic, you have total freedom here. The water stays shallow quite far out, which is perfect and safe for children. As a bonus, being on this side of the island allows you to watch stunning sunsets that you just don't get on the more commercial side of the island.The house is quiet and lovely, and while it’s away from the bustle, it’s still just a short drive to get to the action. Leslie was a wonderful host, constantly making sure everything was perfect for us. There is no doubt in our minds: when we return to the Bahamas, this is exactly where we will stay!
