Cozy chalet in Opmeer near Amsterdam and Beach

The location was great and worked very well for my friend and I who were doing Westfriesland 70.3

It was very very hot inside (I appreciate there was a heatwave!) - perhaps a bigger fan would be useful

1. Shower was awesome. Plenty of hot water. 2. Washing machine & dishwasher very convenient. 3. It was a good base of operations for sightseeing in North Holland & Friesland. 4. The outdoor space was nice to unwind after an active day. 5. Wifi was steady, no outages. 6. Close to supermarket, drug store, & petrol ⛽️ 7. Very clean & cleaning supplies handy. 8. Utensils, pots, & dishes enough to make a meal. 9. Parking space. 10. Good value for our purposes.

1. No screens for some windows. Mosquito bites galore. 2. Could use more fans or maybe ceiling fans to circulate air as it would get stuffy inside on hot days. 3. Bring your own toilet paper. We were left with 2 rolls that had maybe a third left on them each. 4. Beds were okay but felt like a memory foam mattress with amnesia. Not comfy. 5. There was a weird smell. Used half a bottle of Ambi Pur (Dutch equivalent to Febreeze) to freshen up the place. It wasn't horrible but just musty & stuffy smelling.
