Beautiful, comfortable, and well equipped Welsh cottage

It truly felt like home. Well equipped, very clean, and super comfortable. The welcome basket was exceptional and filled with so many thoughtful and delicious goodies. The owners were easy to communicate with and made sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed and provided detailed info regarding how to find the cottage. We will definitely stay here again.

Home from home for a great beach holiday

Lovely cottage, situated between Broad Haven and Haverfordwest. Conveniently, there's a large Tesco Express less than 10mins away for things you've forgotten and the beach had no distractions of amusements or gift shops. Londis had supplies of windbreaks and kites! The Ocean cafe provided take away coffee. We found fish and chips by car park well below par for high season. No hot drinks as machine broken (all week) and limited menu as theyd run out of things, food was dry. Surf shop was well stocked with helpful staff. We ventured to The Castle in LittleHaven and found fabulous food. Back at Cottage, it was a lovely touch to have welcome pack that included haribo for my grandson. Everything was immaculately clean, everything you could think of was provided. Great to have a hose out front to sort wetsuits etc and a washing line out back to drip dry. Comfortable beds and lovely smelling linen. Really peaceful venue. On the one wet morning we had, we went go karting and it was great for a holiday treat. We found the location perfect to get to beach to just play in a very wild sea equally amenities for all eventualities close by. At Broad Haven we used wetsuits and 9yr old also wore a flotation device as it was choppy with some big waves. A thought...this property was accessible due to seat in shower and downstairs bedroom, thinking of my friend in a wheelchair. I would love to visit again and will sing the praises of this property.

Lovely accomodation, the perfect pembrokshire base.

The place was amazing and it was really easy to check in, there was even a very welcome, welcome basket waiting for us on the kitchen table. It was a lovely space where we were able to relax a little, great location with enough nearby when we needed it but also felt very peaceful. We used this as a base to travel to skomer island as well as St Davids and other places along the coast, and it was ideal for that.

A comfortable two bedroom property with a garden at the front and a courtyard patio at the back with a table and four chairs. Very well equipped with everything needed to self cater. Table and chairs in kitchen as well. Conservatory was warm and sunny. Hosts were attentive, both popping round to say hello and responding to our question about the shower. The single bathroom has an electric shower with a folding seat and toilet and basin within. Family ornaments around give a homely feel alongside some more modern pictures and finishing touches. Bedding and towels were clean and the fluffy throws on the beds were cosy. We we warm enough but there was easy to use heating for colder days. A super welcome pack included lots of lovely local items and was both kind and generous.

Wonderful stay!

The cottage is in a fantastic position—peaceful, scenic, and ideally located. It was equipped with everything we needed. A lovely surprise on arrival was the welcoming hamper basket, filled with delicious homemade goodies—it was such a thoughtful touch . Visiting Wales in May has become a personal tradition of mine, and I must say this accommodation ranks among the very best I've stayed in. My main reason for coming was to visit Skomer Island, and the cottage’s close proximity to the ferry made that incredibly convenient.

Very clean property, in and out. Nice garden, beautiful interior. Far away from the town, but close enough to visit a store and the pubs. Close to all the beauties South Wales has to offer!

Homely, safe and secure cottage stay. A peaceful retreat we would love to return to

The property was a charming old cottage, set back off the road in a lovely location. There was a lovely welcome hamper on arrival which included prosecco, and some delicious home made scones among other goodies, a real treat. The cottage itself is spacious and has a lovely courtyard to the rear, with small pretty garden and private parking for 2 cars at the front. It was spotlessly clean, and the bed linen and towels were of excellent quality. We all (family of 4) commented on how comfortable the beds were. We slept really well, especially as the cottage is so quiet at night. The kitchen is large enough to accommodate dining for 4 comfortably, and was well equipt for us to cook all meals there. The location of cottage is great for exploring beautiful Pembroke, and we had some fantastic walks locally on the coastal paths. Not a negative, but just a tip - we stayed on a very cold February weekend and found the temperature of the cottage colder than what we are used to at home. We should have thought about this before we went, as it's a very old cottage compared to our modern house. Next time we go (and there definitely will be a next time!) we will take an extra layer for the evenings. (plenty warm enough in bed though) Having said that, there are beautiful fleece blankets on the beds you could use to snuggle up under on the sofa of an evening if needed !! The owners live in the cottage next door so were on hand if needed but left us to our own devices. Overall, we absolutely loved our stay at the cottage, so much so we stayed on an extra night and even then didn't want to leave!! Spent the evenings playing family board games (in hall cupboard) We will definitely return.

Perfect home from home

We arrived to find a welcome hamper with homemade preserves, cookies, welshcakes and scones. Even a birthday cake for my daughters birthday. Fully equipped kitchen, there was nothing missing and exactly everything needed to cook a full meal from scratch, storage, condiments juice and welsh products. A lovely touch! Food recycling available which was great, bathroom was perfect, beds were comfortable and clean as was the rest of the property. Garden is well kept with a range of gorgeous trees, shrubs and flower bushes. Very easy to get to Folly Farm and Heatherton for family days out and just a short 25 min drive to St Davids.

The Cottage was immaculately clean and very homely and welcoming. The hamper of goodies was a lovely treat and very much appreciated after the long drive and late arrival. Gaynor and Med came to greet us on our first evening. The cottage was well equipped with everything we needed for the stay. Location was great with easy access to several nearby beautiful beaches in Pembrokeshire.

The main centre of town was only 10 minutes away so it was easy to access shops and fuel. The garden was a lovely addition to this comfy cottage. Had it not been for the rain we could have dined alfresco. I would certainly recommend this accommodation

Early in arrival, homeowner came and say welcoming to us, was very friendly. They made the table in the kitchen with some different kind of bread , wine, beer , . Put some milk ,chees and butter in the fridge, ready for their guests in arrival. Ki . Everything was very good.
