East Hook Farmhouse

Lovely setting, comfortable well appointed rooms. Generous home-cooked breakfast by the host, who was very friendly and attentive.

The fridge in the room was a bit noisy so we turned it off.

We have stayed at East Hook Farmhouse twice before under the previous proprietor. This time we stayed in the main house in a lovely room which certainly lived up to our expectations. A friendly and warm welcome from the Host greeted us on our arrival, as well as biscuits and a chocolate, and fresh milk was put in the fridge every day. The room was serviced on a daily basis which was much appreciated, not all places do that these days. There’s signs for the guesthouse all the way from the main road, have faith, you won’t get lost. Parking is of course, right outside. The price does not include breakfast but this can be requested the day before at an additional cost. We were away for two full weeks and quite frankly you get tired of a full breakfast every day-so that did not bother us, and the price for the room is very reasonable. Great to have a fridge in the room for cold drinks, water, some fruit etc. We can wholeheartedly recommend East Hook Farmhouse, we would stay again without hesitation!

room was cold and damp on arrival. situated at the end of a dark poorly made road. During darkness the property had an eerie feel.
