Peaceful One-Bedroom Apartment in Praia da Luz

Great location, wonderfully landscaped gardens, super clean, loved the gardens and the welcome was warm and friendly. Did not make use of the included breakfast - to be honest, was not entirely clear how that worked - but we were only there for 4 days so made use of the local cafes anyway. Others may find this a useful bonus.

Was a bit chilly in the living room (we were visiting in December and the details did say heating was provided) - I believe there was under floor heating in the living room but it wasn't that effective and no way to regulate it. The fireplace itself was blocked off. But blankets were provided so were put to good use!

We arrived at 2am on the 21st September and the hosts had left lights on in the apartment for us and the key was inside, we could not expect anyone to welcome us at that hour. we were made very welcome by Frans Joy & Cristina when we checked in nothing was too much trouble on advising us they were all so friendly, we would return. This is our second holiday there. We were also pleased to see a welcome pack.

Absolutely loved our stay in Luz at Quinta Paraiso da Mia. The whole complex was very beautiful and well taken care of, with a nice garden as well as a pool the guests could enjoy. The owner was very attentive to all our needs, and was very helpful in providing directions around town and telling us where to go for certain things like a laundromat or the post office.

Nothing really. Everything about our stay was great. We couldn’t get the TV channels to work during our stay, but it didn’t matter since we were at the beach most of the time anyway.
