Each room is furnished down to the last detail, whether it's the elegant main bedroom or the large dining area with a long, 10-seat table. The expansive kitchen offers top-of-the-line appliances, including a double oven (the top oven is currently non-functional for 2024), while the comfortable living room and adjoining sitting area make a great space to relax together - all within steps of three large balconies.
Additional luxuries include six TVs (including a 3D TV with a Blu-ray), free WiFi, a private washer/dryer, parking for three cars, and an outdoor shower. So get ready to enjoy Ocean City's famous sunsets, all while being spoiled by Sunset Island's indoor/outdoor pools, bay front beaches, and more.
Sunset Island is Ocean City's premier gated community, boasting luxurious amenities in an ideal location that's central to all this resort town has to offer. This private, 37-acre island sits only three blocks from the Atlantic Ocean and is surrounded by the bay on three sides, giving you tranquil scenery throughout the day and breathtaking views at sunset. Facilities include indoor and outdoor pools, a clubhouse, shoreline walking paths, bayside beaches, interactive fountains, and much more - all just a short drive from the Ocean City Boardwalk and world-class golf.
Things to Know
A building registration fee includes six facility passes and three parking passes. Additional facility passes are $75 per pass, per person per week. Children three and under do not require a facility pass. The fees are the following: Winter (January 1 - April 30 and October 1 – December 31) = $100. Spring (May 1- May 23) = $150. Summer (Sunday BEFORE Memorial Day, May 24 to Saturday AFTER Labor Day, September 12) = $200
Ocean City has adopted a noise control ordinance that makes it unlawful to cause or permit noise levels which exceed those established by the Department of the Environment of the State of Maryland (COMAR 26.02.03.02) or are in violation of Chapter 30, Article V of the Town Code. It shall be a violation of this agreement and grounds for eviction under Maryland law if these noise levels are exceeded as a result of activity on this property. Ocean City has other noise ordinances, which are criminal offenses if violated.
Parking notes: There is parking available for a fee and charges will apply for 3 vehicles.

Our smart home technology will alert our team if excessive decibel or occupancy levels are detected, allowing us to reach out directly with a reminder of maximum occupancy and quiet hours. Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit.

Great home in a terrific location! The house was very spacious and well-kept. The common space in particular was great for hosting a large group. Our group got a ton of use out of the clubhouse and the private beach is beautiful to see the sunset from. Definitely check out the in-neighborhood ice cream shop!

We stayed for a work trip for 3 weeks and it was a great place for the team.

The house was spacious. It was plenty big enough for 8 of us. But the rental company and/or cleaning company does nothing to help with the cleanliness or simple maintenance. I am still waiting on a call back from multiple phone calls I left during the week.
The cleaning and overall upkeep of the unit was an absolute disgrace. Our family spent much of the first day cleaning everything in order to make it livable. I can only assume a previous renter had some type of party in the unit. The cabinets still had drinking games in them, and we found beer pong ping pong balls shoved into one of the flowers! Every shower needed to be bleached from all the mildew and grime build up. We quickly found out that there were no cleaning supplies for us to use which prompted a grocery store trip. Then we found the only vacuum in the house was completely busted.
We did call the help line for Vacasa for maintenance issues and the cleaning issues. None of which prompted a return call.

This home sits in a great neighborhood but it needs a lot of tending to. Home is beautiful but Vacasa does not tend to it. We reached out for 4 days from the first day we got there and maintenance never showed up. We were never able to get the lock box opened for the keys and had to go in and out through the garage for 10days. There’s also no lights outback of the garage. The outdoor shower was broken, none of the balcony doors locked, there were broken chairs, not enough dressers to store your clothes, one of the bedrooms with bunk beds smelled strongly of urine, the vacuum was broken so we couldn’t use it, there was an old broom that barely worked
but no dust pan. We would highly recommend staying on sunset island but not in this home. It’s a very nice house but not kept up.
