About this house rental

On this wonderful corner lot sits Alberta Villa which is in one of the most sought after locations in Portland. Sitting just a handful of blocks from Northeast Alberta Street you are in a perfect position to enjoy everything the Alberta Arts District has to offer. You are close enough for a short walk or a quick Uber while being far enough to not hear the hustle and bustle when you don't want.



The home has been updated with new décor and design that accentuates the look and feel of the Pacific Northwest. As you enter you are greeted with a warm and open floor plan bathed in natural light from the oversized windows. The fully stocked kitchen sits just off the dining room and has everything your culinary needs.



Another fantastic benefit of this home is the single level layout. Not only are the living and dining amenities on the same level but as are all the bedrooms and bathrooms. Each of the four bedrooms is easily accessible down the main hallway. Each bedroom is a blend of maximizing the space for room to sleep, comfort, and style.



It is almost impossible to find a home in a more desired part of Portland within this region. It is perfect for families, groups, or business travelers in working in the area. You can eat, drink, and explore everything Portland and the Northwest has to offer from this incredible location.



Please note that this home is one of the few in all of Portland that is legally permitted for over 5 people. There are very few, and the illegal ones get shut down all the time. In order to be a legal short-term rental in this county, it is required there is a long-term tenant living on the property, in this case in the adjoining converted garage unit with its own private entrance on the far side of the property. They have sole parking access to the driveway to comply with these regulations. Please don't hesitate to reach out if you have any questions at all.



We truly want you to enjoy your time and make some wonderful memories with your group. That being said, this is not a party or gathering house for groups that can't control their noise levels. We have relationships with all of our neighbors who have our direct contact information. Quiet time is 10:00 pm to 8:00 am. Please stay indoors during this time, keep the windows and doors closed and keep the volume to an enjoyable but reasonable level. If it is loud enough to be heard outside in these conditions, it is too loud for you to remain our guest. This property includes a noise alert monitoring system in order to ensure that neighborhood noise levels are respected. Again, please realize we want every group to enjoy their time, laugh, have fun and make memories. These devices are only to ensure noise levels don't reach a threshold that bothers our neighbors. Also, please note there is no electronic video surveillance monitoring the interior of the house.



PET FRIENDLY: **There is a $100 pet fee per pet with a maximum of $300 (3 pets). Although we are pet-friendly please note your pet must not be left unattended at the house without you present, even if in a crate/kennel. Failure to adhere to the house rules as it pertains to pets may result in cancellation of the booking with no refund. **

Maximum occupancy has a hard cap at 8. We cannot make exceptions for any reason.

"Use of all outdoor spaces by ASTR guests is prohibited between the hours of 10 p.m. and 7 a.m. all days, except when entering or exiting the house. The hours of outdoor space use must be listed in the House Rules and may be more but not less restrictive.



The ASTR use must comply with City Title 18, Noise Control. Among other regulations, Title 18 sets limits on sound levels that impact residential properties. Section 18.12.020.B addresses permissible levels of sound producing or reproducing equipment. The following activities are in violation of Title 18: Operating or permitting the use or operation of any device designed for sound production or reproduction in such a manner as to cause a noise disturbance; or operating or permitting the operating or use of any such device between the hours of 10 p.m. and 7 a.m. so as to be plainly audible within any dwelling unit which is not the source of sound.



Commercial meetings are prohibited. Commercial meetings include luncheons, banquets, parties, weddings, meetings, charitable fund raising, commercial or advertising activities, or other gatherings for direct or indirect compensation."

The house was perfect for our needs with two young kids on our trip to Portland. Easy street parking, nice neighborhood, good communication. Would definitely stay here again!My only complaints are that it gets a little warm in the bedrooms as the AC is a window unit in the living room, but the house has plenty of fans. Other issue is that when the AC, TV, and Microwave are all running, it would often trip the breaker. The breaker is easy to access and reset - but still a bit frustrating. Lastly, some of the beds are very firm - so just be warned about that.

Stay was overall decent! One of the bedroom doors (first bedroom on the right) does not latch or lock, so it must be kept shut with a chair that's in the room. The step to get into the house is also pretty high, several of us almost tripped while trying to get up into the house. Not the most accessible for disabled folks. The water pressure in the hall bathroom leaves a lot to be desired. There is also some odd electrical issues (possibly overloaded circuits? We noticed the lights dim considerably when the microwave or oven was used) but nothing that ended up grossly affecting the trip, just little inconveniences.
