The property has good rooms

It should be located at a better place and provide better views from rooms . The most important thing is that it should have a lift for all premium rooms as my mother is 70 yrs plus and had a lot off problem climbing stairs .

Wonderful staff, excellent food (including the complementary breakfast). Great view of the mountains and nice art in the resort. Hot showers and comfortable rooms.

Taxi drive to downtown Dharmashala (600 rupee) or Dalai Lama’s temple (800 rupee).

Intents of the staff was definitely worth appreciating. They are ever ready to do whatever best is within their capability. Though I felt staff is relatively less trained and new. We also found taxi service a good experience. 2-3 drivers who served us were very good. Hotel was very neat and clean. Food was definitely good. Whatever we ordered met or exceeded our expectations. Special mention for their effort to meet our expectation of local cuisine. We liked it.

Spa was not working. This was not informed at the time of booking. Restaurant has limited options. For example 1- in dinner buffet there were no starters. And dinner buffet was not there on all days. Only some of the days. 2- One of the days even breakfast buffet was not there and time to serve was high. On holidays a well spread buffet is a big attraction and missing it was not likable. 3- Even in cocktail menu all they could offer was one cocktail Mojito. This was also a big disappointment. No other activities in the hotel. This was also a big negative. There is no swimming pool in the hotel.
