Another lovely stay at this idyllic rural apartment. The perfect stay for a couple or single traveller. The hosts are charming and so helpful. Set on the first floor and part of a working farm the accommodation is very well appointed, comfortable and spotlessly clean.

Perfect. 10/10. Couldn’t recommend enough.

Did not include breakfast but Julie left eggs, milk and Welsh cakes which was a very kind and thoughtful gesture. My first morning I woke to snow and Julie knocked the door and asked if she would like her to walk my dog. Wow. Never expected that and it was much appreciated. Also she got me bread and butter when she went shopping which was above and beyond excellent hosting. She was so attentive with even ensuring there was grit on the steps as she was concerned for my safety with not slipping and falling.

The location was chosen as it’s close to our family. But the coast & historical sites are close by. Out host left fresh eggs & Welsh cakes, tea & coffee & fresh milk for us.

Welcoming host who gave us lots of info. Very helpful. Everything was very clean and tidy. Pretty well equipped. We appreciated a few welcome ‘goodies’. Good bathroom and shower. Quiet location next to farmhouse. Convenient to get to lots of places - small towns(Narberth) countryside and coast The village has an interesting history to explore

The apartment is accessed by quite a steep staircase which might be difficult for some people. Carrying luggage up wasn’t easy. Although the kitchen was quite well equipped, a couple of useful additions would be a bread knife and scissors

Beautiful I bed appartment on working farm.

Beautifully converted to very high standard. Good shelving - able to keep bags and clothes tidily stored - near large bathroom with walk-in shower . Kitchen facilities very good and everything easy to operate. Comfortable bed with option of 4.5 or 9 tog quilt. Lovely colours for furnishings and crockery. Milk, eggs and Welsh cakes left for us on arrival. Tea and coffee provided too. The position is good for Coastal path, Stackpole, Tenby and even St David's . Very pleasant owner - Julie, a working farmer on this dairy farm. We moved on, as planned, after 2 nights but missing it already.

Minor point..a colander and kitchen scissors would be helpful

A beautiful rural location, close to Narberth and easy reach of Saundersfoot and Tenby. Visited 3 castles including one in the village. Lots of lovely walks and beautiful views.

Fantastic farm.

We were on a working farm the apartment was beautiful very comfortable very clean . Listening to the cows in a morning was joyous. Great location. The owner Julie was lovely . Thank you for a wonderful stay. Fresh eggs for breakfast to highly recommend staying here.

The farmhouse was brill with all basic things like tea, coffee etc provided! Really comfy sofa and bed, Lovely big bathroom and shower, The host was really friendly and talked to us whenever we saw her. Very welcoming and nothing was too much trouble.

Great quiet location and very well equipped. Everything there that need whilst working away. No radiator in the bedroom but a portable dyson heater was great and really cosy. Will definately recommend 😊.

Very cosy and relaxing, perfect for our short trip away.

Very easy, we saw the hosts and they were happy to assist. Moreover, we received a message as to the keys location prior to check-in.

The heating in the bathroom and bedroom was rather minimal, so became very cold easily, although the living room + kitchen was fine.

A wondeful home from home - perfect stay

This is a wonderful place to stay for a relaxing few days, everything you could possibly need is in the flat, utensils, pots, pans, all cleaning fluids are from Method, so much thought has gone into the small details. Wi-Fi was uninterrupted during our stay, we were able to plug our firestick into the tv & had no problems amazing hosts, thoroughly recommend!

A fantastic place to stay in heart of Pembrokeshire

We really loved our stay at Ash Grove Farm in Llawhaden. The host and her lovely dog were very warm and welcoming when we arrived and provided us with helpful information about the area. The accommodation was very clean, cosy and comfortable. It had everything we needed for self-catering and the host had even left some eggs, milk and cake. We liked little apartment so much that we ate in 3 out of our 4 nights because we just loved staying in the place. Llawhaden is a fascinating place, steeped in history, with its castle, church and bridge. It is also an ideal location to explore the whole Pembrokeshire. We will be recommending Ash Grove Farm to our friends and plan to return.

The location was excellent for our needs! The welcome was very warm and friendly, and it was lovely to get the milk and eggs and cake on arrival.

We had a few minor issues with the free Wifi, but the owner went out of her way to ensure we successfully got a good connection.

A Great Country Experience - Bonus

The host, Julie and Denzel, were terrific, the farm was a different experience to our other apartment bookings but a great choice. Set in a small farming town that hosted a once upon a time huge castle and a beautiful church with surrounding agriculture that serviced St David's church 50 miles away. The farm had 150 6-month old cows, a deaf cat, a pet milking cow and a kelpie dog. The accommodation had all you needed and Julie supplied some essentials for an entertaining stay. If you are looking for a great example of country life this is the choice, you won't be disappointed.

The location was disgusting we literally slept between cows and buffaloes with a lot of smell and the cows songs all night helps us to stay awake and ruin our holiday

well equipped self catering with ALL necessary tools and mod cons for a very comfortable stay. Eggs, milk, wine & mince pies were waiting for us. Everything was very festive from place mats to toilet paper & insence sticks.

Lovely escape to the country

Lovely setting on the farm, was superb to watch the cows coming in and out. So much fresh air and wonderful views. The host couldn't have been nicer to us, very welcoming, and the flat itself was fantastic. Very clean, all the equipment you need and lovely and warm.
