The location was great for Anfield and you could help yourself to the facilities/ food in the kitchen which was also a bonus. Own bathroom in room which is great with kids nice and comfy beds

It was a little to hot in the room at night for my liking being unable to turn the radiator down

Spot on

The Lodge was homely, cosy, clean and warm. It had everything we needed in regards to cooking facilities, good choice for breakfast. I had a twin room the room was very clean and the beds were very comfortable. The hosts were very helpful and the bonus was the Lodge had memorabilia of Liverpool and the Anfield Stadium a 5 minute walk away. Would highly recommend and I will book again this year when I come to watch the mighty Reds. Really enjoyed my stay, no complaints.

Rooms are basic but more than comfortable, cleanliness is second to none, and the location and ease of checking in and out were superb. Contact between myself and the hosts was excellent always a helpful prompt response, excellent stay

One minor gripe from my wife was that she would have liked a small mirror in the room not just the bathroom so she could straighten her hair more easily. But this is such a small thing

Everything is top notch Jeff is a great host accommodated our early flight as we landed early am Claire is a charming friendly lady, very pleasant and helpful Room is cozy and warm Location is 3 minutes walk to Morrison daily gas station where you can get all convenience you need Anfield is 5 minutes walk Breakfast lounge is full of food, fruits, juice, toast, milk, kettle, toaster, stove... Each room has a designated box in the fridge with room number on it, so that each guest uses his/her items

All is great really Trash bin in bathroom would help No Disch washer liquid in kitchen

Perfect location and facilities, would definitely stay again

Location was perfect, two minutes walk to bars and places to eat and local shop. We were attending a football match at Anfield and the ground was only a 5 minute walk away. Beds were very comfy and bedlinen spotless. The kitchen facilities were great with a personalised basket in the fridge for our room with goodies. The help yourself breakfast was also a lovely touch. Good communication from the host and easy accessibility to the property.

There was a slight fusty smell in our room on arrival but it seemed to disappear after a while and it didn't affect our stay.

Great self service guesthouse. Good location for getting into town, clean and tidy with nice communal kitchen facility.

It was clean, easy to check in and easy into the city centre in a cab.

Nothing really, it was a good set up. Other guests were quiet and respectful and I felt safe as a solo female traveller. Perhaps it would be different on a match day or if there were big groups, but I had a good experience. It could do with a few hangers or clothes rack in the room, and a bin, but all good.

A safe cosy clean room with excellent facilities and a superb kitchen with lots of food.

It was cosy clean and above all safe for the guests. The process of reception and entry to the lodge and my room was clearly set out in the email send to me The kitchen facilities were excellent too lots of goodies after a long journey from surrey. I had a phone call from the owner to check all was ok due to a smell which I did not come across it. I really liked the idea of the lodge it worked very well. The location was what it was advertised as being 400 metres from the stadium ( Bruce Springsteen)🎸so again safe for me as a female on her own. So well done and thank you for a cosy clean safe stay ❤️❤️I have told and am telling friends about your lodge.✅✅👋

The location was great but accommodation was disappointing.

The kitchen was well stocked and the complimentary goodies in the fridge were a nice surprise.

The room was quite small for two of us with two big suit cases. The curtains were falling off the railing. The bathroom door was difficult to close. The shower needed to be switched on in the bedroom, but there were no instructions about this. As a result when we wanted to shower at about 10pm we didn't know how to turn it on. When communicating with the owner she didn't reply to the various questions I sent her about parking etc.

The hotel is ok for staying one night.

It doesn't have a bin in the bathroom and doesn't have a shower mat. I would suggest a kettle in the room instead of in the kitchen. And when we arrived we had found an expired sushi box, so I think you should check the drawers before letting the next person stay.

Lovely clean accommodation. The welcome hamper was an added bonus too.

There was nothing we didn’t like about staying here and would happily stay again. As I was sharing a room with my daughter we were both fighting for use of the very small bathroom mirror, we felt there could be a mirror on the outside wall and perhaps a hook on the back of the bathroom door to hang our towel whilst in the shower.

Brilliant location for football match, very clean and all facilities as described. Check in and out was very easy and quick.

Radiators were on full blast. These were adjustable though (which we did) and windows opened, along with the room fan, which made temperature adjustment easy.

Sweet cosy and great location!

The location was perfect for the football game. Also close to bus route, so easy to get into city centre. Place was cosy, just enough for a family with 2 young children. Breakfast options and the drinks/ treats provided per room were a nice touch.

No complaints. Might have been nice to have some hot chocolate for the kids. The adults had tea and coffee which was perfect.

Good clean cosy room in a good location

The location was good, good local amenities eg pub, shop, fast food. Lovely touch with the drinks and biscuits in the fridge. Good selection for breakfast, tea and coffee available from the kitchen. Nice to have a wall mounted fan as on the ground floor, good to have the wall mounted TV especially on an arm so we could move it. Great sized bath sheets which is always a plus, bathroom compact but shower cubicle ample size for bigger people. Easy access, check in couldn’t have any easier. Free parking at the top of the road definitely a bonus.

Room smaller than expected but fine for a couple of nights, no mirror in the room other than in the bathroom so would bring my own next time. Mattress on the soft side but that could just be a personal preference.

I liked the cleanliness and warmth of the property, the room was a reasonable size and there was a nice choice for breakfast in the morning with plenty of additional supplies in the fridge

There was an issue with the shower head, the shower was good, just wouldn’t stay located in position
