It was a pleasure to stay at the Manoir and we had a positive experience. The owner was very friendly and welcoming. We loved the bedroom and the breakfast, which was a traditional continental with local and home produce. WiFi was good.
The owners were really helpful in recommending a place to eat and we had a wonderful dinner by the river as a result. The village is picturesque.
Parking was secure within the Manoir grounds.
We would definitely return and recommend.
There was nothing we didn’t like but I would recommend that there should have been two fans for such a large room as a small tower fan didn’t really help much in a heatwave.
I would also recommend putting up mosquito nets in the window, so you can open the window at night.

We had an incredible stay at Manoir du Bellay. Philippe and his family are so warm, welcoming and accommodating. They made sure we had everything we needed, including an iron and even a washer/dryer. The breakfast is the highlight - homemade and served to you in their picturesque garden with their friendly dog to keep you company. Highly recommend!

We were warmly welcomed on arrival. Like many other places, it would have been useful to have a small written paper on how to work out the wifi and the heating. The Manoir has a real feel of an historic home.An easy short walk into the village. Breakfast was very nice and with home made jam and croissants ( which sadly got burnt but there were alternatives! ) Bellay is a very nice little town. There was only one restaurant open, Le Gourmandisier, which was excellent.
