Campanile Saumur

Nice peaceful setting in rural location outside the busy town of Saumur. And they served excellent dinner on site so we didn't have to go hunting for restaurants.

Nothing. It was all great..

On site restaurant was good. Staff were lovely. Motorcycle parking directly outside the room and fairly secure. Shower was very good.

I had an evening meal in the restaurant which was excellent and just what I needed after a long hot day on a motorcycle, the beer was cold to! My ground floor room allowed me to park the bike right outside and keep an eye on it and on request I was also provided a more secluded room that meant the bike wasn't easily seen, the staff were really friendly and helpful room felt recently refurbished and the shower was fantastic - excellent all round stop when heading further south.

Nothing everything was great

The location was good and parking was fine. The rooms themselves were comfortable enough and the shower was good.

All of the rooms were dated and falling apart or smelt very strongly of smoke. The toilet being in its own cubicle and not with the rest of the bathroom was a little strange and claustrophobic and the ceiling in the main bathroom was mouldy in all the rooms we booked.
