    Clean, well equipped room with extra comfortable beds and pillows. Free fresh water. Our room had a balcony open to the sea side, always windy (it was great!). The hotel staff was very friendly and helpful. Breakfast is served nearby on open air under the tall shed almost on the beach. There is a surf station close to the hotel (surf board rental is just 300 THB for 1 hour). There is a 7-eleven in a walking distance on the main road. Easy to find food and drink. Free parking. Amazing!

    We stayed at Kokotel Khao Lak during the monsoon season, and even though the weather wasn’t ideal for swimming in the sea, we still had a fantastic vacation. The hotel has a warm and relaxing atmosphere that made us forget about the rain. The room was clean and comfortable, with an incredibly soft bed and pillows that gave us a great night’s sleep. The air conditioning was excellent, keeping the room cool at all times. The breakfast buffet was excellent, offering a wide variety of fresh and delicious choices. Every morning was something to look forward to. The staff truly deserve special recognition. Everyone was friendly, welcoming, and always smiling, making us feel at home throughout our stay. Although the beach was quiet because of the season, the swimming pool had a lively atmosphere with many international guests, which made the hotel feel vibrant and enjoyable. We ended up spending much more time by the pool than we had planned and thoroughly enjoyed it. Overall, we had a wonderful experience at Kokotel Khao Lak. It proved that you don’t need perfect weather to have a perfect holiday. We would happily stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Khao Lak, even during the rainy season. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

    Decent hotel for the price. On the beach. Breakfast ok. Would recommend for a few days but better hotels elsewhere if staying longer. 10 min walk to main road and bars and restaurants.
