Great choice for Koufonisia!!

This property combines perfectly traditional with modern amenities. It has a great location near 2 beautiful beaches but also near Chora. Breakfast was handmade with fresh organic products giving a home like experience. Giorgos is very eager to provide everything needed to cover our needs

Wish I had booked a longer stay

I'm not a breakfast person but I could not wait for breakfast every morning- so much choice, everything fresh and delicious. I loved the room and little terrace. Pick up and drop off to the port. Lovely hosts. Perfect location for me as I like to be a bit further away from main town but still walking distance. I would go back in a heartbeat.

Stay here! It’s dreamy

Everything was beyond perfect - from the kindness and warmth of the hosts to the quality of the facilities. We were treated to breathtaking views and stay in a charming little Cycladic house, beautifully decorated, cozy, and fully equipped with everything you need. The breakfast is delicious and generous, made only with fresh ingredients, beautifully presented. It’s clear that everything is prepared with love and care — it truly feels like being welcomed into a grandmother’s home. Our stay was absolutely perfect! 💙

The only downside is that after leaving Pambelos, none of the other places we stayed at during the rest of our holiday felt quite as amazing.

Picturesque Hotel

Location is stunning, you can just sit on the balcony on the couch and watch the sea, very romantic escape and it is just near the beautiful Fanos beach.

Staying at Pambelos in Koufonissia was the BEST decision ever!

Pambelos Lodge is a gem that I selfishly want nobody but also everybody to experience. The room itself was beautifully thought out, with wonderful muted colours and minimal decorations. Our place was kept exceptionally clean daily, and had the best view to wake up to in Koufonissia. There were well stocked bathroom and kitchen amenities and everything worked perfectly. The breakfast area is beautifully furnished and the breakfast itself is everything and more you’d want to wake up to, from authentic delicious coffee to a freshly made omelette or fresh fruits and yoghurt with honey - there’s something for everybody. Me and my partner have never experienced such a perfect stay and somewhere we would want to endlessly revisit. Koufonissia itself is an island of true natural beauty and wonderful wonderful people. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts to Giorge and Cristofolos and everyone at Pambelos for making our holiday so deeply special.

Exceptional

Just the perfect place to enjoy Koufonisia. Every morning you wake up looking to the Mediterranean sea. Just 5 minutes walking to the white sand and blue water beaches. Not far away from Pori beach and the village - 20’ to 30 minutes walking - where you can have a taste and lovely dinner. After reading a book and/or having a cocktail in your room’s terrace under the dark sky and bright stars you will peacefully rest on Its beds. Christoferus, Katerina & Giorgios, the owner, help you with anything you need. As soon as you arrive they will pick you up at the port. Every morning they prepare a complete breakfast at any hour. “No problem. You are just on holidays!”, they say.

Superb

The accommodation was fantastic. Spacious rooms with a great view and regular cleaning. Short walk to the best beaches on the island. Slightly longer - but very pleasant - walk to the town. The daily cooked breakfast was tasty and the staff were very flexible on timings. Free transfers to the port were great.

The staff were very friendly but service wasn't perfect. There was little advice on things to do and it was difficult to make good use of the bar facilities because the owner uses them to conduct personal business (and smoke).

Amazing view and beautiful rooms

So clean, beautiful rooms with lots of space to eat, lounge, lie out. The view is incredible and the breakfast was delicious! The room has a safe large enough for a laptop, and Giorgio’s kindly drove us to and from ferry port. During stay, we rented e-bikes to easily tour around island. To wake up to that view and the beautiful room every day was amazing.

Total peace and quiet

The lodge has a wonderful rustic style but is nonetheless refined and cozy. The terrace offers a dining table, a sofa and most of all an amazing view of the beach and of the front-side garden. Breakfast is excellent and the beach is 5 minutes away. Highly recommended!

We could have done with a shower curtain or a protection of some sort, it is right there in the bathroom and it is very easy to spray water all over the place if you are not super mindful of where you point your jet

One of the friendliest, purest guest houses in Koufonisi

Fantastic, friendly owner (Mr. Yorgos), huge and delicious breakfasts. Impeccably clean. Simple cozy architecture inspired by traditional Cycladic building methods, without fancy contemporary stylistic extravagances. Impressive attention to detail in the interior, great material choices in everything, from the yellow cement floor, to the cane/bamboo in the ceiling, to the solid wooden door and the marble sink. Beautiful vegetable and flower garden. Amazing view of the sea, very close to the sandy coast, and 15-20 minutes walk from the island's Chora. Can't recommend it more.

Tranquila, hospitalaria y encantadora estancia. Vistas increíbles

La habitación son casitas pequeñas muy cómodas y agradables. La vista al mar es espectacular y las mejores playas de la isla están a solo 10 minutos andando. Los propietarios, George y su familia, son encantadores y preparan el desayuno con mimo.

Estaba a 15-20minutos andando del centro de la isla, que por la noche tiene mucha vida. Tal vez da un poco de pereza volver por la noche ya que no está súper iluminado el camino y solo hay un taxi en toda la isla.
