About this house rental
The cottage is an old shed that we have renovated to welcome you in an ecological and friendly setting, near the sea, surrounded by woods and fields.
On our land is this cottage next to a farmhouse (also a cottage, 6 people) and our house, all at the end of a dead-end road, in peace, with a view of the fields, close to the coastal paths.
We have renovated the whole thing in an ecological way, working with the principles of 'Regional, Reclaimed, Recycled and Responsible. We have used straw, lime, stone, local and reclaimed wood, sawdust, we have done the painting ourselves, the linen is created with hemp and linen, we collect rainwater for the toilets, etc etc. Our garden in permaculture is a haven of peace for our guests, our chickens, birds and insects,
In the cottage you will find an open kitchen with its stove, oven, crockery and cooking tools, a filter coffee maker, kettle and a dishwasher. Then there is a dining table, a living room with a comfortable sofa, 2 armchairs, a wardrobe with toilet.
Upstairs, there is a bedroom with a double bed (160x200cm), a bedroom with two single beds (90x200cm and 90x190cm), a bathroom (shower, sink, toilet). The beds are made with linen on arrival. Towels are at your disposal. There is a WiFi connection.
A small corner of the garden allows you to eat outside under a pergola on sunny days, when the children play in the sandpit or on the slide.
Plouhinec is well located between land and sea and close to the Ria d'Etel, with lots of hiking trails, beautiful beaches, heritage and small shops in the village. We live 2km from the village, 2km from the Ria and 5km from the beach.
We have a travel cot and a high chair for small children.
For those days that are a little cold, there is an additional heating (Zibro Kamin kerosene stove and/or electric radiator) for which you will be asked for a heating package with a maximum of 10€ per day, depending on your needs.
For short stays, you can be served breakfast (coffee/tea, fresh bread, homemade jam and yogurt, fruit, fresh eggs, etc.) for 8€ per person.
