Le Petit Poisson Vert, an eco-lodge close to the sea

La Longère is a former farmhouse that was in a state of disrepair, which we recently renovated to welcome you to an eco-friendly and welcoming setting near the sea, surrounded by woods and fields.

On our property, you’ll find La Longère, our home, and another guesthouse (sleeps 4), all located at the end of a dead-end road in a peaceful setting with a view of the fields, close to the coastal trails.

We renovated the entire property in an eco-friendly manner, working according to the principles of “Local, Reused, Recycled, and Responsible.” We used straw, lime, stone, local and reclaimed wood, and sawdust; we painted everything ourselves; the linens are made from hemp and linen; we collect rainwater for the toilets, and so on. Our permaculture garden is a haven of peace for our guests, our chickens, birds, and insects—

Inside the farmhouse, you’ll find an open-concept kitchen with a stove, oven, dishes, and kitchen utensils, a drip coffee maker, a kettle, and a dishwasher. There is also a dining table, a living room with a sofa, two armchairs, and two daybeds, as well as a closet with a toilet.
Upstairs, there are two bedrooms with double beds (160x200 cm), one bedroom with two single beds (80x210 cm and 80x180 cm), a bathroom (shower, double sinks), and a separate toilet. The beds are made with linen upon your arrival. Bath towels are provided. There is both wired and Wi-Fi internet access.

A small garden area allows you to eat outside under a pergola on sunny days, while the children play in the sandbox or on the slide.

Plouhinec is ideally located between land and sea and close to the Ria d’Etel, with plenty of hiking trails, beautiful beaches, historic sites, and small shops in the village. We live 2 km from the town center, 2 km from the Ria, and 5 km from the beach.

For small children, we have a travel crib and a high chair available for your use.
