What a gem!

Communication with our host was super easy and the house exceeded our expectation. Spacious, lovely decor, extra's to make you feel comfy and homely above the necessities, comfy linen and extra linen available when needed, a beautiful view, walks from your doorstep and easy to explore other sights nearby. We loved every minute of our stay here and have no problems highly recommending this place to others. All you want and more, even for a longer stay.

excellent place to explore the northern lofoten

We had a great stay at Timea and Paul's place. Cleanliness is one of the essential things to us when searching for a place to stay, And this one did not disappoint us. Well-equipped kitchen, spacious open plan kitchen/living room for two of us, remote place, just a few houses dotted in the valley, a lake nearby with swans and ducks, did I even mention the amazing view? Wake up to the mountains, water, birds, and mooses surrounded. The hosts kindly lent us the carnoe, but it was too windy that day. Easy to reach the places we wanted to visit.

If I really have to say something, the bedrooms could have black-out curtains.

The house has a very nice view over the lake. The kitchen is well equipped and the owners are friendly and helpfull. They even let us charge our car. The house is located closely to the touristic towns hamingvear en svolvear.

Beautiful house in amazing location

The location of this cozy house is the best, near people, but far enough to have the feeling of disconnection. No light contamination, so it offers amazing posibilities to observe northern lights steps from home. The house is really well equiped, with everything needed for both short and long stays. At the kitchen (to cook, dishwasher, big refrigerator, oven), at the bathroom (shower, washing machine, dryer) and even outside when the snow covers everything. The size, perfect for a couple, or a family of 4. Big kitchen and sitting area with great views to the fjord. The owner is really nice, and always try to solve and help in anything that can appear. She even call a neighbour to help clean the road so our car could leave without problems. The house is super clean and well maintain. It is obvious that the owner dedicates time to have the house perfect.

The house is well located at Austvågøya. Sights like Svolvaer or Henningsvaer are accessible in less than 20 min. The house is located very quite at Olderfjorden. The owners are very friendly. The house is quite new, well equipped and comfortable.

Genuin och vacker byggnad med den perfekta kombinationen av genomtänkt funktionalitet och mysighet. Superrent och bekväma sängar. Värdparet är underbara liksom den fyrbenta samojeden Luna. Ligger avsides i fantastisk natur. I köket finns allt du kan tänka dig och vi älskade att bo här.

Superschöne und ruhige Lage am Fjord, hübsch eingerichtetes Haus, alles vorhanden. Timea und Paul sind sehr nette und hilfsbereite Gastgeber.

Wohlfühlort am Fjord

Gemütliches Haus zum Wohlfühlen. Nette Einrichtung, sehr schöner Wohnbereich mit großem Esstisch, 2 Sofas, Sessel und herrlichem Blick auf den Fjord. Küche mit großem Kühl-und Gefrierschrank, Backofen, Herd, Spülmaschine (mit Pads), Toaster, alles da. Auch genügend Geschirrtücher und Spüllappen, Spülmittel. Bequeme Betten, Verdunklungsvorhänge im Schlafzimmer. Bad mit Dusche, Toilette, Waschmaschine (mit Waschmittel), Trockner. Vorraum mit Kleiderhaken, Abstellraum, Spiegel. Am meisten hat uns die absolute Ruhe beeindruckt. Außer Vogelgezwitscher hört man nichts. Herrlich! Das Wildernesshaus trägt seine Namen zu Recht! Viele schöne Wanderungen (Kleppstadheia, Hoven, Glomtinden usw) sind von hier aus gut mit dem Auto zu erreichen, auch nach Svolvaer sind es nur 25 Minuten. Aber auch in unmittelbarer Nähe des Hauses kann man schöne Spaziergänge unternehmen. An unserm ersten Abend haben wir sogar einen Elch in der Nähe der Schotterstraße gesehen:) Die Gastgeber waren sehr freundlich und haben auf Fragen sofort reagiert.

Da wir gerne kochen, hätten wir uns etwas bessere Messer gewünscht ;)
