Caribe 213B

This was our second time staying at Caribe we love the location and the view and the amenities. It’s a great place to recharge and have a beach getaway.

There were a few issues maintenance wise that were resolved for the most part halfway thru our stay. Somethings that weren’t resolved was we couldn’t watch tv the dish was down pretty much the entire time. A majority of the lights in the dining room and living room didn’t work at all, and we had no usable coffee maker for two days.

I loved the pools and entertainment on the property. I loved how spacious the apartment was and how it was stocked appropriately for our stay.

The check in process could have been much smoother. I had to check in an hour after arriving due to a key code that the resort needed to provide. That should have been communicated as the instructions just stated to retrieve the key from under the door mat. I also did not like how rude the front desk staff were. They felt as though they didn’t need to provide any details of the property since it was a private owned apartment. The maintenance men were extremely helpful an accommodating though so this was helpful. The owner also received a violation notice while I was there so it was kinda weird. Overall good trip though.

Beautiful room. The resort was fabulous in terms of pools , activities offered on site and decor.

The shelf in the master shower for shampoos was removed so no where to place shampoos etc when showering. Fans were difficult to figure out how to turn on. The bed was EXTREMELY high in the master bedroom. Was ok for me, but an elderly person or a shorter person would struggle to get up there

Location, property amenities, staff.

Unit was in very bad shape and in need of repair and cleaning. Mold, holes in walls, broken or non functioning shower/tubs, cabinets falling apart, dirty walls and trim, fan couldn’t be used at night, broken and loose flooring just as example of condition.
