As you walk through the staffed secure gate to oceanfront North Coast Village, you are transported to a tropical oasis reminiscent of the Costa Rican Rain Forest. Running streams, waterfalls, lush foliage, and Koi meander through the spacious grounds of this resort-like beachfront condominium complex in Oceanside California.
You will notice the crystal clear heated pool and spa, gleaming barbecues, convenient picnic tables, and sand rinsing stations to remove the lingering beach. If you need a break from sun and surf, you might enjoy a game of pool, a jog on a treadmill in the exercise room, a little ping pong, or a sauna. Feeding our giant Koi is a simple pleasure not to be missed during your Oceanside visit.
When you venture through the back gates, you find yourself on one of North San Diego County’s finest beaches: broad and flat with volleyball, and great surf breaks - right out back! Beach towels and chairs are provided with the condo.
To the north, you can walk or bike to Oceanside’s busy little harbor for a bite to eat or some boating, and to the south, you can venture down the strand to southern California’s longest pier for some fishing (no license needed). North Coast Village is close enough to walk to everything near the beach, so your car can stay in its secure underground parking spot - especially useful when beach parking becomes a premium in the summer.

The Mainstreet Oceanside Farmer's Market is a delightful experience near the Pier which takes place every Thursday from 9-1.

Property was pristine and exactly as described! Incredible value for beachfront property! Kitchen was well equipped with essentials. Unit was immaculate and clean:)Community amenities were a plus!We will definitely stay again as we often find ourselves in SoCal for soccer!

I've had the minor issue at the beggining, but host was very responsive and it was resolved to my satisfaction in a timely manner. The property location is perfect. But here is desclamer: I evaluate it based on my priorities and teaste. Beach "right at you door". You walk outside, turn right - here is the ocean. There is no public parking near by. So, it makes this beach almost private - just for condo complex and neighbourhood houses. Ocean view from the balcony exactly like pictured. Do not expect to see waves (unless they huge), but you see the ocean and perfect sunset from your balcony. With that said: here what was not to my likening: the smell. Not, it was not horrible. But if you think about it - property windows overlooking sunset, it means it never gets sun inside of a condo. So, it's kinda this old/wet type of smell that I specifically sensetive to. My daughter was not bothered by it. So, it's really might be personal sensetivity to smell. Did I regret this booking? - no. Will I stay in the same condo next time? - no. Will I stay in the same complex - absolutely! (but in a room that sees the sun).

From the time we arrived we felt safe in this great gated community. We were steps from the beach and if you leave your windows open you don’t need a white noise app to be lulled to sleep by the sound of crashing waves. During our 5 days, there was quite a bit of maintenance and construction happening but crews were polite and all work ended by 3 so our evenings were free to enjoy all of the amenities. Weather was in the mid 20s celsius while there but our unit was incredibly humid. We tried everything to dry it out. All fans on, windows closed, even turned on the heat to no avail. Not sure if that is normal? It caused a smell in the building hallways where there is carpet. Being our first time to Oceanside, I am not sure if this was just an anomaly, but we found the whole community had a garbage-y smell. Driving in from LA you would hit a wall of funk about 5 miles away that ebbed and flowed throughout the day. Overall we really enjoyed our time at NCV (minus the smell).
