About this cottage rental
Magnolia Cottage is set in a central and spectacular rural location and ideally situated to explore both Cornwall and Devon. Wonderfully presented throughout this cottage provides spacious accommodation which is ideally suited for families and friends getting together.
The cottage presents with open-plan living, featuring a lovely, fully-equipped kitchen and dining table.
Get yourselves comfortable on the plush L-shaped sofa where you can relax and enjoy some fun and games or watch a film on the Smart TV or from the DVD collection.
Outside there are extensive gardens and lawns for the kids to play out on all day while you sit on the patio with a refreshing beverage or busy cooking on the BBQ. They will get lost in their own little adventure while you enjoy the surrounding peace and quiet of the grounds. Relax and breathe deeply without any road traffic nearby and at night you can take in the beautiful starry sky and just chill!
Enjoy the outstanding natural beauty of the North Cornish coast famous for its surfing beaches or for those Geo-caching enthusiasts Dartmoor National Park offers orienteering and letterboxing. You can unwind in beautiful, unspoilt countryside and explore many hidden treasures along the Tamar Valley.
A delightful day out with the family can be spent at Boscastle, Tintagel, Port Isaac, Padstow, The Eden Project and The Lost Gardens of Heligan. Not too far away there are an array of pubs, shops and scenic views.
The owners live on site along with their crew (two lovely Labradors, two cats and some cheeky hens!) and are more than happy to help you plan your holiday and advise on where to visit according to your wishes.
There are plenty of farm shops nearby with Homeleigh Garden Centre being the closest. Here you can pick up all you need as well as local produce and gifts. The towns of Launceston, Holsworthy and Okehampton are the nearest and all have a rich history. There is a steam railway in Launceston where you can enjoy a trip through the unspoilt countryside of Cornwall. Great cycling along the granite way in Okehampton. You can find golf clubs in Holsworthy and Launceston.

Lovely property off the beaten track very peaceful. Nice and clean with good facilities.
Only downside was that we had quite a few flies in both the bedrooms. This did not affect our stay this time but could see it being a potential problem qhen the weather is hotter. Obviously nothing to do with the hosts, maybe from the farm up the road.

A very well-equipped modern cottage attached to an older farmhouse in a lovely quiet rural setting. Centrally located for travel to North and South Cornwall, Dartmoor or Bodmin Moor. The weather was not great but the cottage was warm and comfortable so ideal for a period of "R and R".

Really lovely property, in a wonderfully peaceful location.
Very well equipped property with everything you could want. The host went sbovr and beyond to ensure we had a great holiday.
