Spotted Moon Ranch - River Front - One Bedroom King Cabin

We had an amazing stay at this lovely little cabin! The owner, who lives on the property, was very nice, non-disruptive, and great at communicating. She even took us to see the baby horses, which we absolutely loved. The cabin itself is perfect for a getaway, with incredible views of the mountains and horses. It was very clean and had all the essentials we needed. While there is no AC, there is a ceiling fan and a standing fan provided. It also cooled down a lot at night, so it wasn’t much of an issue. Overall, we had a great stay and would definitely recommend it. We would love to stay here again!

We spent a week enjoying the horses surrounding the property, the views and the peace & quiet! We were only an hour to Jackson via a beautiful drive. Our dogs were welcomed and made comfortable - the owner even provided us a gate to use across the front balcony to prevent them from running off if off lead. We very much enjoyed our time here - the owners were onsite but we never saw them unless we had a question.

Great cabin, great location & view of the mountains. Communications with owner was exceptional. The only issue we had was finding the place. It would be easier if the address was posted somewhere on the road.

We really did enjoy this cabin. It was unusually cool while we were there so the gas fireplace was such a treat. The view from the porch was great - pastures with horses and mountains. Very peaceful. But - the cabin wasn’t ready when we got there. Nothing had been done after the previous renters. Towels on the floor, dishes on the counter, sheets not changed - nothing. We were told the housekeeper was on her way so we went to the grocery store to get what we would need for our stay. She was still there when we got back and we ended up waiting in the truck until she finished at 7:00. When she left she said something about the door lock not working properly but gave us the door code and went her way. When we left the next morning, we couldn’t get the code to work and we never did get to lock the door when we left for the day. We expected to hear something from the owner, but nothing. The day before we checked out, we got back early enough to enjoy the porch, and someone was moving dirt with a bobcat right outside the porch - we couldn’t even park in our space in the driveway. It was a little further from Jackson than we would have liked, but we did enjoy driving through the National Forest and along the river.
