About this house rental

Jean-Paul & Patricia welcome you to a delightful authentic 19th century outbuilding of character, carefully and tastefully restored, located on a former agricultural estate made up of various buildings all perfectly rehabilitated, on the borders of a mini rural hamlet. Literally enchanting setting & site, nestled on the south-west facing hillside, overlooking a "balcony" over a sublime bocage plateau, with the famous peaceful Charolais cows as privileged close neighbors. Sumptuous panorama & landscapes. Total calm & tranquility, nestled on the immediate edge of meadows & forests, in the hollow of a magnificent rolling country cirque, nestled under the wooded ridges of the surrounding hills, magnificent preserved setting of greenery & nature leaning against the slopes of Mont Saint-Cyr, highest point of southern Burgundy (unique belvedere offering an exceptional panoramic view up to Mont-Blanc on a clear day!). Very comfortable gîte with modern "compact" architecture. Warm contemporary character mixing Nordic & industrial influences combined with careful restoration (original stone beams & walls), enhanced by the conservation of an old traditional bread oven (visible in a "showcase" in the gîte). Cocooning & cozy atmosphere. Very charming. Pleasant large panoramic balcony terrace. Magical bonus, you have a sheltered outdoor spa opening onto a postcard landscape! Composition: Access to the property via 400m of dirt road suitable for vehicles. Detached house adjoining the owners' house and a second gîte (total independence without vis-à-vis / access to the gîte by staircase going down the slope from the parking courtyard). Wifi (fiber). Electric heating. Raised ground floor: kitchen-living room-lounge (double sofa bed 140x190cm). 1st floor: 1 bedroom (double bed 140x190cm), bathroom (shower/wc). Balcony-terrace + sheltered spa (4 places) + micro garden + bicycle storage + private parking. Shops 9 km. Supermarket 14 km. Exceptional rural setting & postcard landscapes! Charming authentic agricultural outbuilding with character from the 19th century, carefully revisited into a comfortable gîte with a contemporary feel - equipped with a panoramic terrace & a sheltered outdoor spa - nestled on the south-west exposed hillside, on the confines of a peaceful mini rural hamlet, 9 km from the charming typical village of Dompierre-Les-Ormes (small shops on site) & 14 km from the charming shopping town of Matour labeled "Green Holiday Resort" (very many amenities and remarkable level of leisure facilities ). Absolute calm in the heart of the rolling Charolais countryside, nestled in the hollow of a sublime bocage plateau nestled under the wooded ridges of the vast surrounding wild forests (partly classified & protected as a "Natura 2000 Zone" for its remarkable ecosystems), a peaceful, preserved setting. nature & greenery nestled at the foot of Mont Saint-Cyr (highest point of southern Burgundy) on the foothills of the Beaujolais massif, neighboring the Haut Clunisois & its "green valleys" of South Burgundy like the verdant Grosne valley (the "Little Switzerland of the Mâconnais"). Prime location on the routes of several hiking trails marked as "green walks" (adjoined to a very rich network of identical paths crisscrossing the territory, to be explored on foot or mountain bike), 3 km from the GR7, 7 km from a Referenced favorite bike loop of 88 km (another route of the same type of 63 km accessible 17 km away) & 26 km of the Voie Verte of the Great loop of Southern Burgundy, not far from the first Beaujolais vineyards (first vineyard in the world recognized as a UNESCO Global Geopark) & the Côtes Mâconnaises (including the renowned Val Lamartinien / Burgundy Wine Route to explore), close to the circuit of Romanesque churches. Ultra-privileged location at the crossroads of Charolais-Brionnais (cradle of AOCs for world-renowned cattle and sheep breeds) & Clunisois-Tournugeois (territories both labeled "Pays d'Art & d'Histoire"), at the crossroads of Mâconnais, Beaujolais, as well as the departments of Rhône & Loire. Ideal for exploring (RCEA access 12 km): 15 km from La Clayette, 19 km from Charolles, 30 km from the illustrious abbey city of Cluny, 31 km from Paray-le-Monial, 36 km from Charlieu, 39 km from Beaujeu (historic capital of Beaujolais), 40 km from Marcigny ("Clunisian site" famous for its Monday morning market created in 1266), 45 km from Digoin (river marina connected to the Canal du center & the "quiet canal" connecting Digoin to Roanne), 40 km from the sumptuous landscaped jewel of the Roches de Solutré & Vergisson labeled Grand Site de France & 45 km from Mâcon (Mâcon TGV station 43 km). Possibility of group rental with the second gîte on the property (reference 3236) for a total capacity of 5 people. The perfect refuge for a romantic countrybreak, 100% rejuvenating & relaxing! A literal haven of peace and rest!
