Philippe, passionate about nature hiking in all its forms (road cycling, mountain biking, hiking, etc.), and Rachel welcome you to a comfortable, charming gîte located in an authentic winegrower's house typical of the 19th century, carefully renovated and loaded with history (former dependency of the neighboring Château de l'Ermitage), leaning against the south-facing hillside in the heart of the renowned Val Lamartinien vineyard. Very quiet residential hamlet overlooking the charming wine-growing village of Sologny nestled on a balcony, in the hollow of a magnificent natural and preserved rural valley, between vineyards, wooded hills and meadows. Peaceful and picturesque, Sologny has a remarkable location, a certain heritage (12th century Romanesque church, several castles, wash houses, etc.) and a literally exceptional landscape extending the sumptuous neighboring geological jewel of the Roche de Solutré labeled Grand Site de France. Very comfortable cottage. Warm contemporary country style with Nordic influences combining the cozy atmosphere of a comfortable country house, careful heritage restoration and the exotic atmosphere of an old residence.
